This chicken burger was $7 I think and it was not edible at all. Couldn’t chew or eat the chicken , didn’t have enough lettuce either. Waste of money
We legitimately came in to try Island Food, but this place has put us off totally, absolutely disgusting in smell, taste and texture, also ridiculously packaged, leaking all over the place.
Who don't like the lamb curry? Probably this place has one of the best lamb curry in the town. Fresh and yummy. I hope the taste will be consistent. Happy to be their regular customer in the future.

They are for such a great price (considering the prices these days) with 1 scoop being $5.40 - I think this is very affordable. You can ask for extra seasoning, and they will put some extra chicken salt.

Go here all the time for there fish. They have some of the nicest fish in Wellington, I even travel out from the CBD to grab some. Fish is so soft and moist and is seasoned perfectly it comes apart so easily. Chips are also perfectly cooked, great food keep it up
Bought egg foo young and chips. The egg foo young was tasteless packed with onions in fact was more like onion foo young, the amount of liquid at the bottom of the container was awful. Managed to find one very tiny bit of beef. I will not be going back. Chips were hot.
Had the Mussels and Chips box as well as the Thigh and Chips box, with a can of Coke. REALLY fresh, no big wait at all. Tasty chips, omg - so tasty and hot. I’ll probably grab something else with chips next time I go, just to try whatever else they have. Yum yum.
The fish is good size and always delicious, moist but not rubbish cod. Lovley people's too. fish and chips very nice.
