   I engaged Banks Building and Maintenance for many issues with my home which included extensive rot beneath a butynol/timber floating deck, as well as areas of weatherboards requiring replacement on other areas of the house. Dan provided an extensive quote offering cost effective options. Dan went out of his way to undertake the work, provide choices as well as thorough explanation, and take on the many challenges that arose throughout the process. I found Dan to be knowledgeable, honest, and have a determination to do the job to impeccable standards. I am more than happy to recommend Banks building and Maintenance.

He was clear throughout about the minimum needed, the ideal scenario, and what would be the best middle ground for our budget.    Dan and his team completed a difficult job under trying circumstances. Included full house paint & joinery replacement. Dan is a super smart, motivated builder who has an exceptional eye for detail, high standards and accurate quoting in terms of time / cost. I wouldn’t use anyone else.    Had a large window with rotten timber. These guys came and assessed the work and prepared us for the fact the window may need removing but that they would try and effext repairs with the least amount of impact possible. Dave was the guy assigned to the job and he was great. What you would call a craftsman in terms of his ability to think about how to make the repair without removing the window. The end result is fantastic. Low fuss and they turned up when they dish they would and even worked Saturday to get it sorted quickly. Thoroughly recommend these guys.
