Fantastic quiet stay here. Our rooms were upgraded to marina view which was so nice. Cleaning could have been a little better and the body wash had run out in the shower. But fantastic value for money

Booked last minute as I needed a room to get ready in for a work thing, and they let me check in early. Very clean, tidy and comfortable. Sadly couldn’t stay the night but managed an hour nap, before departing and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. Will definitely be booking here again. Catch and fish next door is amazingly yummy too for a convenient bite, and so handy to have the countdown metro on the corner. Very short walk from Wynyard corner so such a handy place to stay, that is also nice and quiet. Staff were lovely. Only this is self parking but there’s lots around.

My preferred stay whenever I’m visiting Auckland. The rooms are always tidy, smells good, the beds and pillows are so comfy! In my experience, the staff are lovely, prompt and helpful. Great, convenient location to shops and the viaduct but still nice and quiet, love staying here and will always recommend this to family as they have also had positive experiences at the Travel Lodge. I believe the Travel Lodge upholds an excellent standard in terms of hospitality, service and quality. Compared to some of the other places we have visited and stayed at whilst in New Zealand, the travel lodge remains a favourite! Thank you again for a wonderful stay. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our time.

booked this hotel last minute and was pleasantly surprised by how great it was! Located right in the heart of the city, it was incredibly convenient for exploring. The room was very clean, spacious, and super comfortable—exactly what I needed after a long day. The staff were friendly, and the overall experience was smooth and hassle-free. I’ll definitely book here again—highly recommend for both short and long stays!

Pros: Good location, quiet street but only short walk to bars and restaurants. Comfy bed, good views. Paid extra for late checkout, great to have this service. Cons: Room dirty, dusty surfaced. stains on floor, chair and scuffed walls. Sink didn’t drain well so filled up when washing hands. Cracked sink. Water went everywhere when showering. Coffee club is one of their ‘in room dinning’ partners but when I called reception to let them know it’s on the way, they said they only had one staff member so can’t deliver it to room. Came down, and what do you know, 2 people at the desk. So there is NO room service and staff are lazy.

Never have I stayed at such an unprofessional hotel. The staff was extremely rude. Will not be staying here again or recommend it to anyone. Someone from the hotel staff entered our room 3 times in a night and asked us to check out early in the morning. Worst hotel experience so far. The receptionist named Samuel needs to really work on his hospitality skills, had no manners at all.

Someone recommended to me. While amazing location, nothing much sticks out to me. Rooms are basic. While as a Travel Agent, I scorch a deal. My colleague paid lot more. There is no buffet breakfast. You can order room service or go to cafe downstairs which serves pretty much all unhealthy food options. I may not come for leisure, if you here for conference or business and you get cheap options go for it or else find another better option. Also, note there is construction just outside the Hotel. So no good views at this point.

For the past month, I've been staying at the Travelodge on the weekends (mostly). The staff are professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms are warm, with a great outlook and the beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are well equipped and roomy. Everything is clean, clean, clean. So convenient with the Metro supermarket underneath, the Waterfront Theatre and awesome cafes and restaurants within walking distance. And if you have a car, there's a parking building within the complex. I really enjoyed spending time at the hotel and highly recommend it to all. If I had a few more bucks in the bank, I'd probably buy in the Wynyard Quarter - great location...

Earlier this year I lead a travel group into Auckland, where we had booked some accommodation for a large group of teenage girls. Safety, cleanliness and service were our main requirements and I am pleased to say that this was the most enjoyable, accommodating stay we have ever experienced after 10 years of travelling groups. The staff went above and beyond to help service our needs, from booking right through to check out. Every staff member we dealt with, to every request we put in place...I can't speak highly enough of the quality of service that we received. A sincere thank you to all.

Stayed for 3 nights in transit to Wellington, after an exhausting 30 hour journey from London. Front desk staff were effortlessly efficient with their service. Not just once either, consistently great service from the gents. Well spoken and fluid small talk, coupled with helpful advice on places to check out whilst in NZ. I dealt primarily with the manager Byron and staff member Cameron. The room was clean and well maintained, beautiful view of the Harbour with basic amenities readily available. The building itself is attached to a convenient store (Countdown Metro) and about a 5 minute walk to restaurants and bars on the dock. Walk for another 15 mins and you’re on Queen Street. Little tip, take the drawbridge route for stunning views of the Yachts on the Harbour. The room and location were great but honestly, it’s the service that really elevated my stay. Without question will be returning when I next find myself in Auckland. Literally nothing to complain about at this hotel, so if you find yourself complaining, you’re likely the problem.
