Great music, safe environment for lgbtq + , drinks tho yum are expensive and the line to the bathroom is really long. I had a good time, staff are friendly and happy to help:)

So, I went to the Delaney Davidson gig at Meow on Friday. The venue was freezing. Two hours later, full of punters, it was still freezing. Everyone had their jackets zipped up to their chins & beanies on. The stage was soo poorly lit, we couldn't see the band members, even though we were in direct sight of the stage. Occasionally, Delaney would lean forward & I'd see his face, but mainly it was hazy, dimmed blue & red lights. Cigarette smoke from outside was blowing into the venue. It's a revolting stench that made a poor aroma inside. Overall, it was a really disappointing evening at Meow & we'd hesitate to go there again.

Went to see the doors cover band, which was fantastic. It's such a great venue. As I have a spinal injury, I got there early to get one of the few seats available.

Came along for my first gig in a while. Staff were lovely, bathrooms clean. Handy area of town for parking and for grabbing a bite beforehand.

Great little venue for intimate gigs. Sound is surprisingly good, and the bar staff are fast and friendly. Can get stupidly hot in the crowd tho.

Great live venue. Been going here for a few years now and every gig has been great. Seeing Frank Turner for the first time was awesome in a great venue.

What a wonderful venue. Great vibes, great sound, incredible staff. The cute guy that took my drink order didn't need to be told again when I went back for a second (I don't like ice in my rum n ginger ale). Most bars just automatically give me ice even if I go there regularly, so I was impressed by the attention to detail and memory skills!

Enjoyable night listening to the author Ben Mcintyre talk about his book Colditz Prisoners of the Castle, a full house. Very good Cassels beer on tap.
