   I started going to Capital Perio when Bill Gaudie was there. He was the "God" of perio and I was comfortable putting my teeth in his hands. I had some severe perio problems and his maintenance care was extraordinary. When he retired, a young dentist, Anthony Kao, took over. He was competent but not as experienced as Bill was. A major problem with this business is the inability to keep hygienists employed. I rarely saw the same one twice and my upcoming appointment was with yet another new hygienist. Unlike other practices, Capital fails to publish the qualifications or experience of their staff. It was fairly easy to find the history of Katy and Anthony but the hygienists are another story. So, I asked for the year of graduation and the number of years in periodontal hygiene for this most recent staff member. This was not forthcoming (why not?) and so I asked for my records to be transferred to my regular dentist where the qualifications of the staff are readily available online. I will need to find another periodontist since I am unable to see Anthony without also seeing their hygienist. I do not recommend Capital or, in particular, Katy McLaughlin.

   Thoroughly impressed with the team at Capital Perio: from the moment I walked in to the moment I left, everything was incredibly professional, clear, punctual, and friendly. Pure class at this practice. Highly recommend getting work done through them if you have the choice!

   Katy is very kind and has a down to earth personality. She is quite a very good listener and understands well of the patient's struggles with their oral issues. I went for my annual hygienist appointment in this practice. Courtney Coey is an awesome person and down to earth. She did a fantastic job! Top job! Highly recommended to friends, colleagues and family!
