   Oh wow!!!!! The most value of Japanese bowl in Auckland Taste great. We sat at the front and saw the chef made from fresh every dishes that were ordered. Very impressive The photo showed had 3 pieces less, i was too hungry. Definitely come back again.

   I ordered the katsudon, and the portion of meat was generous – definitely worth more than the price! All the dishes are very affordable, making this a place I’d love to visit regularly. The freshly made rice bowls, prepared right after you order, are absolutely delicious. If you’re craving hearty Japanese food, this is the spot to go!

   I accidentally came across this place within a few days of arriving in Auckland from Sydney. Very unassuming little shop in a modest food court, but you feel an aura of pride in the place just as any proper Japanese establishment. And the Don! I first tried the Teriyaki Tofu Donburi and it was sublime, better than any in Sydney I know. When my wife arrived a month later we tried the Salmon and it was even better.. 10/10 for me. Going back again today!

   I went with my partner, and we ordered Chicken Karaage and Chicken Nanban Don. The chicken was juicy and crispy. The portion size is generous for the price. It’s brilliant to find a place like this, as it’s quite rare in the CBD. If you’re looking for a spot with great food, this is definitely a place to visit. I’d recommend it and will certainly return. Oh, and they also include miso soup!

   I had a browse thru and found this gem which offered great special deals due to opening weeks. I would be a return customer to try other dons.. the chicken nanban don was so good ..the chicken was really juicy and the nanban sauce tartar was so yummy which tasted like potato salad .. high quality Japanese steamed rice, complemented with fresh veggies..love all of it..the operator is very friendly and explain the individual dish for me. I cant wait to return to try other Don
