very expensive, I compared prices of mulch, soils and bagged products and was surprised at the high prices and delivery charges. I ended up ordering 8 cubic meter each of garden mix and mulch from a place in Whenuapai as it was significantly cheaper and the delivery charge was free. I live in Swanson so for them to come all that way and do it cheaper is telling you something. I also needed 2 bags of potting mix on another occasion and rang them for a price - it was over $15 per bag. Mitre 10 and bunnings was under $9. For a specialist landscape supply operation it is surprisingly uncompetitive.

These guys blew me away today, exceptional customer service. Got a cubic meter of garden mix with free trailer only to find out tow bar couldnβt fit, manager and staff gave us a spare tow bar and wrench however we couldnβt get it undone so this unbelievable manager offered us his company vehicle. Honest to god this is over going and above. Totally Amazing - have bought from here previously but I am going to always shopping here from now on and recommending these guys to all my friends and family.

I have for very good reason used Swanson - Central Landscape & Garden Supplies for many years now. I have always valued their honest, helpful and friendly DIY advise, and highly recommend that this is the place to go for your landscaping and gardening supplies.
I had planned to use one of the loan trailers Sunday afternoon of the long labour weekend, and thought it prudent to ring ahead just to check on the availability.
An extremely polite apology was given, explaining that because multiple people had not returned trailers from the day before as they had promised, no loan trailers were currently available.
The next morning being a public holiday I was at the yard before opening to ensure I could get a loan trailer and the materials I needed to finish the project.
Unfortunately the new tow ball that had been fitted to the car after a recent accident was oversized for the loan trailer.
The wonderful helpful team at Swanson, offered to loan me the correct sized tow ball for the loan trailers and even the tools to facilitate a swap.
Unfortunately the two tow balls were not interchangeable.
At this point I was totally resigned to having to return the equipment I had hired that morning, and rescheduling the project until the following weekend.
The owner of Swanson - Central Landscape & Garden Supplies, even though they were fully booked for deliveries that day being a public holiday, so very generously offered to squeeze in a special delivery.
An hour later the friendly truck driver, arrived with the materials to complete the job.
I very highly recommend the Swanson yard for their professional and friendly commitment to great customer service.
