The Econergy hot water heat pump is amazing. We've had one for over 8 years now and it has reduced our hot water electricity bill by 70%. A huge saving. They should be installed in every new build and bathroom renovation.
Just had the HP4LT installed in our new build. Very happy with the unit and service. Had a look inside the unit when it was being installed and was very impressed with the design and construction. Nice to see quality electrical engineering and not the cheap bare bones designs i have seen in other units.
If I could give this crowd of cowboys negative stars I would. Our heat pump has been repaired by them 3 times since we have had it over our 8 years of ownership, last time it took them over a year to repair with various excuses and only after a 1.5years it has failed again. This time they can't even be bothered returning messages. Avoid at all costs unless you want a dodgy system that costs a fortune to install and constantly repair with taking no responsibility to stand by their work
I installed a hot water heat pump nearly two years ago from these guys, It is fantastic i have never run out of hot water and i have never had a winter power bill more than $90.00. If all New Zealand installed these the cost saving in power use would be massive. I highly recommend getting a hot water heat pump from here and watch your savings grow and help the planet

I am a Refrigeration service engineer and have been dealing with hot water heatpumps for 10+ years. They are the best units on the market. Brilliant back up and support direct from the manufacturer. The units are also built to the highest quality and are a pleasure to deal with.

Spent $8,000 on one of their hot water heat pumps, less than 5 years later the whole heat exchanger cracks - faulty part they just stuck some glue on and charged us for it - thought they would look after us - should have got a Mitsibishi - cheaper and would have lasted longer - stay away
