   Never coming here again. I usually always come before work but on Thursday 23/10 I purchased my usual sandwich and they lady looked at it funny before she gave it to me. She then tried to convince me to get a different item instead. I was confused and continued my order. When she handed it to me I noticed MOULD on the sandwich that she was clearly quite comfortable with me purchasing and eating. When I complained she was indifferent about the fact she tried to hide it and cover it up. I don't think anything here is fresh as quite often I get a pie and the temperature inside is lukewarm... will be reported to food safety. Disgusting.

   Just wanted to come on here & say that their mince & cheese pies had no flavour it taste which had taste very bland. This was last year around October, I hope by now they have up’d their game.

   Bought lots of treats for my family. They loved the custard twists - huge hit! The pies are great too, fresh az with good amount of meat and gravy. Definitely worth the trip!

   After being alive for 24 years I can confirm this bakery outdoes any other for their fresh cream donuts because they are bloody divine! Soft bread, delicious cream and even if you are lucky to scoop up a passionfruit one go for ittttt

   Tastes cheap, poor quality. Ended up binning my Pie. Its not "fresh" and I did not have a fresh taste in my mouth soon after. Had to wash it out with a energy drink. Hygiene is ok. But i could get the same pies from pack n' save.

   I have lived in Beach Haven for many years plus I work in Beach Haven. I know, life is great with zero traffic. When I started my job in Beach Haven I had plenty of time to try all the local eateries. Fresh Bake House was easily the worst place to buy lunch from. Their food is reused day after day, their pies are so dry and crumbly I could estimate I have had a 5 day old pie from them. The sweets and custard squares are congealed and are no doubt reused from days ago. Cleanliness is diabolical too. I have had years to adjust and find the best place to buy lunch from in Beach Haven and what I believe is one of the best bakeries in Auckland is BHV Bakery just round the corner.
