   Watch your vulnerable elderly family members. Surely 'reputable' small business would get a red flag if an elderly woman using a walker spent nearly $60,000 in less than a year. For her to then beg for a refund on a $9,800 bracelet, and a further $8,800 in diamonds on a reset, because the bracelet did not fit ( this the last purchase). To be told 'no refund' as they do not do refunds (after the owner/jeweller said yes speak to the Manager). To be told by the Manager "You can pay back by a layby small amount each month", this was after my mother explained she had no money left to pay for her complex this month. But told then after a advocate spoke to the manager she stated "you can have the bracelet" (after over a month they had it and was fully paid for), and "we did the alteration for free" (not really took the excess gold). And "we will absorb the costs of the diamonds" (apparently half they had, half in transit)? Dishonest, highly priced. Lacking compassion. Nasty Manager. I am reporting to Age Concern

   Very disappointed with the service. We have used Everson jewellers for many years and always found the previous owners and staff friendly, courteous and professional. Unfortunately that same level of service now seems seriously lacking. I recently took in some jewellery for repair. A woman called me with a quote and when I had questions she was extremely rude and condescending. However I accepted the quote and gave the go ahead to proceed. Three weeks later I called to find out what was happening with the repair only to discover that it hadn't been started and they couldn't give me a timeframe of when the work would be done. How can a business run like that? So I decided to pick up my jewellery and go somewhere else. The next jeweller was very attentive. Gave me a price and time estimation on the spot. After reading other reviews, it seems this is not an isolated incident. It is sad that the good work and reputation of the previous owners has not continued.

   I wish I had read the recent reviews as I had always had good service from the previous owner. Extremely crude repair to my wedding ring, which is now unwearable as part of a set, and charged me a huge fee to boot. Told me "it still looks nice".

   Poor communication and a mediocre repair - 18 days after dropping my ring off to get a stone put back in, I rang to ask when it would be ready. Appears the repair was done the day after I took it in. Strange because I only accepted the quote at 4.50 pm that day, so suggests the job was done before I gave the go ahead. The repair didn't meet my expectation. I waited another week only to get a phone call asking what they were doing with it? Was told the repair was the best they could do. An apology for poor communication but nothing else. A disappointing experience.

   Very bad customer service. Brought my watch in for a battery replacement on 5 January. They couldn’t put the watch back again (the guys in the mall never had a problem!) and possibly broke the watch. They never call you and I had to go in to the store to find out (several times now) what is going on as they don’t ring you back as promised. It is now the middle of Feb and still my watch is not back and I have not got an date yet from them about it’s return to me. I would give them no stars if that was an option.
