Room was lovely, spacious and clean! Full size hair dryer was a great plus! Man at desk was efficient but not friendly. Parking area wasnt great .. unfinished building site with nails and screws everywhere, not great for the types on your vehicle.
Spacious room with kitchenette and ensuite and windows. The beds were comfortable. Everything seemed new and clean. There is a lift so you dont have to lug your bags. Staff are friendly. Free fruit provided. They have security keys for the various entry points. Motel is close to the airport and about 20 mins from the city. Happy to recommend them :)
I booked a stay for one night as I had flown in to Auckland from Canada and wanted to sleep before driving the next day. I found this hotel an absolute pleasure to stay in. It was immaculately decorated, spotlessly clean, spacious, well equipped and even had tea and coffee available. The bed was comfortable and small touches like the usb charger power outlet for my phone was really appreciated . I found the location very convenient as it was close enough to the airport to be handy but also far enough away to be near the city. I found the check in after hours (due to flight being delayed) process easy to navigate. I really appreciated my stay here and would book again on the future.
I booked on the day and managed to get a spot for a very good price on a Saturday night! I stayed in the executive sweet, and it was roomy, comfortable and cozy! The person at the front counter was lovely, and allowed me to check in early, which was awesome considering I had only booked the room 30 mins prior! Next time I find myself in Auckland, I will definitely be coming back! Thank you very much Solsen Motel
I stayed 3 nights at Solsen Flexi-Stay. The room was a good size, very clean, comfortable and quiet, considering it was not far from a motorway and next to a busy road. I've only given 4 stars because it's location is quite a distance from everything, and being on the ground floor I could easily hear people in the room above me, walking around. Great price for high standard room. Will definitely stay again but maybe not on the ground floor :-))
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Solsen Motel. The location is conveniently located to access Auckland while also being nestled in a quiet and calm neighborhood. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and informative. Our room was comfortable, met our needs and was of great value. A special thank you to the front desk staff who was so welcoming.
