Mike and his team created some amazing custom wardrobes for us. We couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Everything was smooth sailing and not an issue. Mike and the team at Norwegian Wood designed and built our new kitchen in Lower Hutt in late 2024 - Mike was excellent to work with throughout the design phase and provided thoughtful suggestions while being respectful of what we were trying to achieve. The result is a high quality kitchen that has really transformed the space, achieved everything we were hoping for and which looks great! Additional changes after the first design like adding LED strip lighting were cheerfully accommodated. We have a large collection of books and asked Norwegian Wood to build a library to house them. As it was an important project for us, we made sure we spent time to get the design right, and we were very happy to be able to count on Michael's expertise to help us find options for the more tricky parts. The overall process went very smoothly, we felt we were in good hands, which was proven by a timely installation and a quality of the result that went beyond our expectation. We've engaged Michael and Dustin twice now for projects at home - floor to ceiling built in cupboards in our entrance room and a new bathroom vanity. Absolutely stoked with both. The design process was perfect for the way we like to work - we were able to come up with the design ourselves and then Michael sense-checked and enhanced what we had come up with (plus remembered to add some essential features that we'd forgotten to ask for!). The end products are impeccably finished and work seamlessly. The extra storage the cupboards provide has transformed how we run our house (no joke they get used probably 20 times a day) and the vanity is the centre point of our bathroom renovation - we're always getting compliments on it.
