   We’ve been in Swanson for 5 years and never come here as we’ve never heard anything great. Unfortunately Bethels Beach cafe ran out of chips so we had to feed the hungry kiddies. Chips were undercooked and soggy, fish was small and soggy. I’d say one of the worst fish and chip experiences Ive ever had.

   This is my family’s go to local fish and chip place been coming here most of my life. Love the food! My mum love the wontons they do and I love the spring rolls! The service is Always friendly and warm. I think over the years they’ve recognised us and Always go above and beyond. Sharing a smile. Will always be our local place wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else.

   Have been here a few times and found quality good so didn't mind paying a little more. Chips have always been a very meagre serve. Last time I went the portions were all small and it was swimming with grease. May have been a one-off but it was a very disappointing meal and the last one to be purchased from there ☹️

   Huge yummy paua fritter. Nice terakihi. Chips on the small side. Can't believe the people moaning about customer service at a fish & chip shop! if you need someone to tuck your napkin in for you you're gonna need to pay more than $3-5 for a piece of fish.

   Only leaving a 1 star because of the poor customer service. You should do better. Food is about a 2-3/5, possibly not the worst takeaway I’ve eaten but definitely a bit below your average takeaway. I had to eat here because I was short on time and didn’t want the other food offered in this small location. Just learn some basic manners, I understand if English is not your first language but I’ve had even the most broken-English takeaway owners offer me utensils and napkins before, and attempt to smile. Didn’t feel very welcome, almost like I’m in a prison cafeteria and the guy was forced to make me food. I asked if I could add a tomato and a sausage to a meal and instead of replying adequately, what I got was, I quote “no…look menu, only menu!” Try “sorry no tomato but can add sausage for $2.20” because I had to find out on my own that you actually sold sausages on their own despite you saying no.

   Semi regular go to. Works burger is filling. Like the donuts and milkshakes from here. Have added a pic of menu as prices have increased recently.
