Great food, especially the gourmet pies and deserts. We cannot drive past without popping in to get coffee and food.

A Khandallah favorite, Dunshea’s Deli offers a more creative menu than the usual cafe’s breakfast fare. Try the Sammie with Black Pudding or the amazing cheese jalapeño scones. And the coffee is top notch. Parking can be a challenge but I’ve always found one in the end.
This is a lovely family deli- cafe just around the corner from Khandallah Park and the Skyline trailhead. Craig and the team are super friendly, fast and serve great coffee and cakes and in addition to the great savoury food in the counter- also have a great breakfast/ lunch menu too. One of my favourite venues in Wellington.
Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and delicious food! The cheese scones are especially tasty. It is a popular spot, so occasionally there aren't enough indoor seats, but there are sheltered tables and chairs outside with blankets and a wee heater.
Great local deli. Good hearty brunch menu, all the usual sweets well executed along with a few special treats every day. Great coffee well served.
Popped in 20 minutes before closing since I was dying for a nice latte. Ordered a steak and cheese pie with a side of salad and it was one of the nicest cafe pies i have tried. Their coffee was so delightfully creamy with the right level of sweetness. Will definitely be back in future.
Quick stop past for a vegan salad and a meat pie (two separate meals for two people). Large quantity for the salad and by all accounts tasty. The beef pies were the only one a tried, more of a ragu style filling with a tomato based, not quite a classic pie. Crispy puff on the top in a classic oval shape. I'd hang out for Parsons or Nada for more of a classic gravy but still satisfying.
