The staff are undeniably friendly and helpful, making you feel welcome from the moment you step inside. The cafe itself is, well, functional. The interior design is very basic, leaning towards clean and perhaps a little too minimalist for my personal taste. It's not somewhere you'd go for a visually inspiring experience. However, this simplicity contributes to the casual, laid-back vibe they're clearly aiming for. In terms of the food and drink, Cafe Villa offers a solid, dependable experience. Their menu, described on their site as an extensive blackboard menu, provides a good range of breakfast, brunch, lunch, and snack options, as well as cabinet offerings of homemade cakes and sandwiches. The coffee, sourced from Supreme, is good quality and the food is satisfying, though nothing really stood out as particularly memorable or unique. Itβs the kind of fare you know you'll enjoy without being wowed. One pleasant surprise was the ample parking available. Thereβs a surprisingly large car park tucked away at the back, as well as outdoor seating at both the front and rear of the cafe, providing options for different weather and preferences. This is a real bonus, especially for families with young children. Cafe Villa is a reliable community-focused cafe in Ngaio. Great food and friendly staff. Very good coffee. Car parking entrance down side of cafe. Four of us had a lovely brunch. A busy little cafe.
We stopped in for a couple of toasted sandwiches and a cuppa. They didn't have any pineapple so my preferred sandwich filling choices weren't available. Obviously some confusion between serving and kitchen staff as I didn't get one of the fillings my wife ordered for me; which, ended up being in her sandwich - no drama. Mostly young, courteous staff when we visited. Young server promised they would have pineapple next time I visit.
We love it there is one of our favourites cafes to go breakfast, even though we live a bit far away.

Used to eat here many years ago, the food has always been very good as it was today. The staff are fun and friendly. The cafe seemed familiar as the decor is the same as in 1998! The latte was excellent as was the smashed Avocado on toast.
