I just had an experience buying alcohol at this place, and asked specifically before I paid if there was a surcharge for paywave. I was told there wasn't. After I paid, including a surcharge of 66 cents, I was told there actually was a surcharge. I asked to reverse the payment, but a 50 cent coin was put in my hand. I probably gave a bemused look to the cashier, and he said, 'Do you want 10 cents more?' (so I'm only losing 6 cents), and when I continued to give him my presumably bemused stare, he offered 10 cents more than that, but I just walked out. Amazing to find a place you have to negotiate for the owner's mistakes!
