great hangout spot, one of the sickest cafes i have ever visited. the baked goods are all great, and the decor is incredible. the pinball machine gets switched out every so often and right now its elvira !

Came in and ordered two drinks and a vege quiche. Waited for a while and then staff said the docket βdidnβt printβ. Eventually drinks and food came, quiche and juice were good but smoothie tasted like just plain yogurt? It was still purple so a whiff of berry mustβve made it in. At this point we already felt bad for them missing the order so we didnβt drink it and left. People on till were very nice but seemed very disorganised and management didnβt seem keen to take any accountability for poorly organised and run cafe :(

Open late and such a wide range of food wether you want sweet or savory, hot or cold. Plenty of cabinet food and ordered menu till 12AM. Atmosphere, design and service was amazing and such a comforting vibe. Will be our new spot for hangouts!

Yummy cabinet options, coffee is prepared so quickly and so yummy! We loved the vegan chocolate cake and the pies!

Wide variety in the menu, one of the few places that make cafΓ© options late. Great vibes, not too loud, good music, strong coffee, polite staff and decent amount of space available.

What is not to love? Our breakfast experience was superb. Ordered one big brekkie and shared it with the two of us. The servings were big and the flavor was great. The coffee was also to our taste. The ambiance took me back to my days at the university as an undergrad and those hole in the wall places with staff that eventually becomes your friend. Felt very at home with this place. It was so good we had to come and have breakfast again the next day. That says a lot because when I travel I tend to eat and savor different places.

This place is a Wellington icon! Very neat aesthetic. I enjoy the Vegan Cakes but they are very sweet. Half is plenty for one person β I would always share a slice. My friend raves about their Vegan Nachos. I tried their Vegan Nachos recently and sadly, the beans were cold and I had waited sooo long for the order that I didnβt bother asking for the dish to be heated up. The toppings were really nice but the bean mix was basic. Would be a decent meal if hot.

Searched for a good cafe, menu looked amazing but man was the food a let down. Nothing was seasoned eggs were dry and the toast had no butter felt like I was eating at boarding school again. Did have an amazing milkshake though! Wouldnβt recommend big let down for someone travelling around Wellington city. And for the service it needs to be worked on no communication skills at all our plates were taken back and fourth due to our orders being messed up.
