   I recently called Laser Plumbing Te Atatu for a plumbing emergency outside of their operating hours, and was transferred to someone who introduced himself by his first name. I explained to him what the emergency was as quickly and briefly as I could; but throughout the phone call, he sounded annoyed and not very understanding. He was going to charge me $400+ if he had to come out to my property; another option he suggested was that I go out and buy the parts I needed to fix my plumbing emergency from local stockists and do the repair myself. He said this was a cheaper and quicker fix; otherwise, I'd have to call during their standard Mon-Fri operating hours. I was not going to do the repair myself or delay it, which is why I called for help in the first place. By the tone of his voice and how fast he was speaking, I think he just wanted to end the phone call. I felt like a nuisance. This is not helpful or professional at all, especially if your service clearly mentions that you are available for emergency callouts.

   I got an electrician and a plumber in prior, and they both said it was the trip fuse. I brought a new 32amp (up from a 16amp). IT STILL DIDN'T WORK. Then they said it was the mains switch at the wall. Got that replaced and checked-AND IT STILL DIDN'T WORK. My tenants went without hotwater for a week as they delayed coming over each day. I paid them $250 for guessing and sent them away. I decided to call Sumich plumbing. Sumich plumbing sent a guy over in great time, found the problem and fixed it in 30 mins or so. Now I have happy tenants. Well done Sumich 5 stars. I will be recommending you to other landlords in the area and bussiness colleagues. (Rod - New Viet Limited)
