   This is an overdue review from an experience years ago. I had an appointment with Carlos and I was told he normally doesn’t do Asian hair but made an exception for me. The appointment was to get foils done twice for approx $450. Only ended up doing foils once but I still got charged the same price. Wish I’d had more confidence back then to say something but I was thrown off by the Asian comment. I also got a haircut which was the best haircut of my life. Such a shame because otherwise I would’ve gone back for that haircut every single time. I’ve also had my hair done by Ricky and had a really good experience but still didn’t feel comfortable going back because of my experience with Carlos and feeling ripped off.

   First time at helmut. Had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Booking online was super easy. I booked in with the wonderful, talented Ricky. Ricky saw my vision and executed it perfectly. He worked his magic on my hair and the results are better than I expected! New go to hair spot now! Couldn’t recommend more! All the staff were lovely and it’s a beautiful hair salon! Also really comfy wash chairs!!

   Carlos is an artist. He is very knowledgeable and generous in his knowledge of hair styling. I really appreciated how he took the time to explain to me the hows/do's and don'ts of my hair. I came in to get my hair coloured but also got a haircut when I saw all the beautiful clients leave the salon with naturally fluffy hair! Helmut has a very talented team and they have earned a returning client.

   Best haircut experience of my life hands down. Carlos cut my hair and it was SO nice to have someone confidently tell me what my face would suit, left with a modern cut that needs minimal effort. Will definitely be recommending to friends, and will trust him for a bob next time!

   I have been going to Ricky at hèlmut for over 5 years now and have never been disappointed. Ricky can always deliver and vision the look I’m after. I am always satisfied with the outcome and receive plenty of compliments on my hair. I usually go lighter but I asked for a dark blonde beige mix this time :) Beautiful place and quality talent. Highly recommend!
