Was it the drvgs provided to her by the g@ngs living in this hotel the reason for her "sudden" de*@th? This motel is riddled with g@ngs, crime and drvgs. We all know you're not providing emergency housing out of kindness, you're doing it to pay your rent and your staff just like the rest of the motels struggling to stay afloat. You'd be better off using it as a laundering front if you're not already.

Ok so obviously this motel needs a huge, expensive makeover to compete against the others, the building is outdated, rooms need upgrading, duct tape holding the lino together etc BUT the price was great for Wellington with parking which for us was essential. The staff were friendly and good service and the bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room as impeccably clean. The linen was fresh, the location awesome.

The staff were pleasant, the location very accessible. Was good to have a car park as I was travelling for work with an infant and had arranged for someone to look after him while I was at work - they used the carpark. However, the room was so cold, even with the heater going - actually the heater was there for decoration only I think, a really small heater for the size of the rooms. I used all the blankets/duvets available on the bed, and was still cold. Not nice with a baby in the room. I won't be going back there - even without a young child, this was too cold for me.

Do NOT recommend. The room was cold and the bed had no blankets just a throw over with no cover. We needed an extra heater to be put into the room as the one we had would turn off randomly and was pre set to never go beyond a necessary temperature for that room to have ever been warm enough. The fridge froze and ruined all our food ($150 worth) and the curtains were half hanging off the rail. Which obviously didn’t help in insulating the room. When we tried to talk to the staff about it they responded with a careless bad attitude. The night we initially told the staff about the issues we were met with a “Be quiet and send an email.” Type response. Save your money. Go elsewhere.

Great little place not bad prices. You get all the basic amenities like hot water, laundry which you pay for only a couple of bucks, a microwave, TV with basic cable, fridge, tea & coffee provided & small milk packets, and of course towels shower gel and shampoo provided. The rooms come with heater to stay warm during cold nights but you hardly feel the cold in the room. The room I was staying had a single bed jointed together and had warm quilt and window. Walking distance to all major attractions within city center.

The room and building is very dated, but was clean and very quiet. The location is fab. It was very cold and we were offered another heater for the room, however just the one was more than enough to keep the room toasty warm. My only gripe was that the towels were stained - time for some new ones. If you are looking for an affordable room then this is your place.
