Nice big park with a huge open ground, though the cycling loop is not completely finished - roads start after cycling or walking halfway through the path. Also, the roads may be somewhat easy to cycle if they were not pothole-filled, and they are full of small rocks, which is not so good for cycling.
Sports fields were fine but the area with playground was littered with rubbish. Takeaway containers, drink bottles, food everywhere. Area needs cleaning to make it sanitary and safe for children.
Te Atatu South Park is a wonderful community park that offers something for everyone. The park is spacious and well-maintained, providing a perfect setting for a variety of outdoor activities. The playground is fantastic, with modern equipment that keeps children entertained and active. The walking paths are well-paved and scenic, ideal for a leisurely stroll or a more energetic jog. There are also plenty of open spaces for picnics, sports, and family gatherings. The park’s greenery and landscaping are beautiful, creating a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. The amenities, including clean restrooms and ample parking, add to the convenience and enjoyment of visiting the park. Highly recommend Te Atatu South Park for its excellent facilities, beautiful surroundings, and family-friendly environment. It’s a great spot to relax, play, and enjoy the outdoors.
A very wide walk trail with a nice view of the distant mountain range. I like the fact that it has a lot toilet and a changing room right in front of the parking lot. There were several exercise machines, a playground for kids, a football field and a basketball court free for everyone to use.
Lots of nice dogs and owners
Vast and well maintained park. Has got all types of play grounds and courts. There are also general excercise equipments. A fun place for families and kids.
Easy walking sealed track right round. Big field to play on , children's play park and when covid levels reduce there are toilets available. For those that like a workout there are permanent gym structures to train on along the walkway.
This park is a very good facility with plenty of space on the field for multiple teams or families to play on. There is a playground on the other side where your toddlers and kids can play if that's all your looking for. You also have toilet facilities and access to public rubbish bins if have any rubbish after your family lunch, picnic or dinner. Ample amount of parking and walking distance to the supermarket. They also have a workout track with body weighted exercise machines for your outdoor exercise people.
