Asked for a root melt to blend my greys with the rest of my hair for a low maintenance grow-out. Unfortunately, for $220 the result looked more like a wide brown stripe. Needed colour correction from another hairdresser to blend this out
Disappointing went in for a balayage touch up and left with no blending, colour bleeding, and stripes. Toner was not left on nor was root smudge. Lady was clearly in a rush. Salon itself needs a clean and when you have a client coming it’s probably best to ensure there is toilet paper at the bare minimum and at least a clean toilet. Calls all went unanswered when trying to reach out for opportunity to fix. Hair ending up costing me 700 to fix mistakes. Not happy.

Since my hairdresser of 7 years has closed up shop I've found myself in a very risky predicament to find another hairdresser that will give me the results where it will make me say 'yup, this place is THE ONE'. Firstly, I tried a place in Point Chev where my hair was overbleached and i asked for a copper tone but instead i was given an almost ginger fluro orange. I also was left with disconnected roots going from black hair (natural hair colour) to orange! It was awful. So I decided to give another salon a go and boy was I glad that I found foxandblonde! I had Mandy do my hair and she was so lovely, accommodating, knowledgeable and she listened to what I wanted and she told me what was possible and what would take a couple of sessions to achieve. Her attention to detail was excellent and she basically turned my orange mess of a hair into a beautiful deep copper colour , gave my hair a trim to give it more shape than my previous cut and I walked out of the salon feeling beautiful and ready for my holiday. I was beaming with joy as Mandy didn't just colour correct my hair but I walked out of there with excitement knowing that I've now found a new salon where I can relax, get fabulous hair without the fear of my hair getting wrecked again as per my previous experience from another salon. The foxandblonde salon was clean and beautiful and the glazed shop windows was a nice touch for privacy without blocking out natural light. Mandy was lovely to chat with and very down to earth and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this place wherever you live in Auckland - I live on the north shore and I drove for 30 mins to get to this salon but believe me it's so worth it! Thanks again Mandy and I can't wait for my next visit. Keep up the excellent work.
Love my hair every time! They are experts when it comes to blondes and do such an amazing job. I get a full head of highlights and always leave feeling glam. Great location and free parking is a bonus! So glad I found Mandy and Fox and Blonde. Highly recommend!
