We had a really good experience at Bossi. I had the steak for my main and it was AMAZING. We also ordered a couple of desserts, which were the perfect end to dinner. We will definitely be back. Our waiter was fantastic, very knowledgeable and genuinely lovely.

We celebrated my 45th birthday at Bossi, and it was absolutely amazing. From the atmosphere to the service, everything was top-notch. We tried the Fettuccine alla Ruota, Bistecca Fiorentina, Carpaccio di Manzo, and Pane allβAglio, every dish was full of flavour and beautifully prepared. The pasta wheel experience was definitely a highlight! A special mention to Cristiano, who served us with exceptional professionalism and warmth. He made the night feel even more special. Bossi delivered an unforgettable birthday celebration. Highly recommended!

Lunch for two woman cost $294. The food itself was good, but the service was far from what you would expect at this price level. Despite clearly mentioning in advance that we wanted to see the cheese wheel pasta and requesting a baby high chair via email the night before, nothing was prepared when we arrived. We waited over 10 minutes for a high chair and eventually had to ask a waiter ourselves. Although we informed the server again when ordering, we were never told when the cheese wheel pasta was being prepared and missed the experience entirely. At $150 per person, the service simply does not compare to other Auckland restaurants such as Alma or Amano

Overall, the dishes were a bit salty, but thatβs actually why I liked the food here! The food in Italy was generally on the salty side too, so I guess this place is pretty authentic. I had the best risotto here, the texture was perfect, and I also loved the slightly tangy tuna crudo. They could, however, put a bit more effort into cleaning, there were some crumbs on the chair and the table had a slightly damp smell.

The restaurant itself is lovely. However, Bossi was very understaffed and this was communicated through the service and quality of the food. It took 50 minutes for starters to come out - including oysters! In our pasta dishes the pasta was too thick and undercooked. Food arrived warm and not hot. Disappointing. We were there 2-3 hours. We ended up taking away the dessert we ordered, the Semifreddo al Pralinato, and it was delicious. The cocktails were also great. The wait staff were friendly and polite - but need to know the specials. We spent over $400 for an extremely average dining experience for two. I would only recommend coming here for the daytime deli, cocktails or dessert.

I absolutely adored Bossi! I had been wanting to visit this place for a while, and I'm glad we finally had the chance to go there last night. We were lucky to secure the chef's table, where we had the opportunity to observe and engage with the kitchen staff as they expertly prepared each dish. The food was simply divine, with an array of exquisite flavors that delighted our taste buds. The team at Bossi was fantastic, from the friendly bartender who skillfully crafted visually stunning cocktails (just ask him!) to the talented chefs. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who personally garnished each dish before it was served. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home, and we're definitely looking forward to returning for more delectable food. Price, not crazy, as expected for high end restaurant like this. Worth every cent.

My partner and I dined with Bossi for a joint Bday celebration. They went above and beyond to make the occasion special. We had the most delicious bespoke cake, hands down the most delicious cake I have ever eaten! The food is superb, an extensive wine list with lots of great Italian wines and beautiful decor complete with a wine library. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Bossi for a fabulous date night experience, we will definitely be returning!

We had a fantastic meal at Bossi. The service was first class. We ordered starters, mains, and a bottle of red. The starters were the stars of the show, both being beautifully rich and well balanced flavour wise. The mains werenβt far behind. Atmosphere was spot on. Canβt recommend it enough. Excellent value for money.
