   This is a taxi driver to avoid. After disagreeing to a ride fare of $80, the driver then said that he would take “35% off the meter price” in which I agreed. When we got to my destination, he insisted that I pay the fare on the meter discounted by only 20% which totalled to $144 plus $4 for a card payment fee. When I tried to dispute with him that this was not what we had agreed on, he proceeded to get angry and shout, telling me that I am "wasting his time", eventually grabbing my card off me and trying to complete the transaction himself on his payment device. This was completely unacceptable behaviour from the driver and quite frankly I feel robbed and taken advantage of as I was intoxicated and it was the early hours of the night. I do not believe his taxi is marked but he should be avoided if possible at all costs.

   $62 dollars for a return trip from down-town to GI. Same trip with uber their was 1/3 the price. No difference in quality of vehicle. Ridiculous, I will never use this cab company again! I am going to report this Gentleman "lucky" to the NZ Police. He is not operating a licensed Taxi services while "pretending to do so" with a false Taxi sign on the roof. Further there are NO RATES displayed or Driver ID

   Got a taxi home from morningside at 10pm before the end of the six60 concert. There was no one else around and just a line of cabs waiting there. We ask for a ride and confirm the driver isn’t already booked and he seemed very happy to take us home to Massey. He asked us to prepay first because it’s night time and sometimes people don’t pay which we were happy to do. We knew it would be expensive and assumed around the $80-90 mark because of surge pricing but still bearing in mind the event hasn’t actually finished yet and there’s no traffic or pedestrians to contend with. The driver did not at any point confirm the price or say what he was putting through on my debit card. I’ve since discovered that he charged $150!!! That amount is excessive regardless of event pricing and should’ve been discussed with us given that it’s a very high rate. When I called to discuss this, the man on the phone was very argumentative and talked repeatedly over the top of me and refused to hear me out or see things from my point of view. My biggest issue is that the rate should have been discussed before my card was charged and we weren’t given that opportunity.
