I had an unpleasant experience in store yesterday. While making a purchase, an older staff member with brown hair commented on a set of dice I was buying for my son, saying they were a choking hazard and seemed shocked that I was purchasing them. Even after I reassured her that my son doesn’t put things in his mouth, the comment came across as judgmental and made me feel as though my parenting was being questioned. On top of that, I found most items to be very overpriced. I was happy to support the store, but the interaction and the pricing left me feeling uncomfortable and disappointed.

Used to be a really awesome op Shop. Now it feels like new management have killed it with everything over priced and clinical. Also the lovely staff whom used to work there are gone. Shame

SUPER disappointed in the prices. Some items were really worn down but still quite over priced. Really disheartening to see prices with such a high mark up given that all items are donated. Especially in an area where there are plenty of uni students who don't have a lot of money to spend on clothes. The dinnerware and kitchen items were also really expensive. You could definitely find cheaper elsewhere, in some cases buying new would be cheaper. It's grest going to op shops to support a local charity and I'm sad I wasn't able to AFFORD it in this case. Its unlikely I'll be back.

This is an awesome op shop. Not the cheapest but not surprising given the quality of the stuff they have on sale. Lots of high quality household items and top end clothing. Lots of new items daily too. Nice staff team.

Great community focused op shop with lovely staff. A very large selection of items considering they are operating on a small shop floor! Lots of designer clothing items for 10-20% of the retail price, many great finds here. Will definitely be coming back soon!

It’s a lovely small op shop in Kelburn Village area. It might be not that big but yu might find interesting items here. Depending on the availability of the used items, you can find clothes, dinnerwares, books, accessories, records, toys, shoes, paintings, and even mattresses, at bargain prices. The staff are very friendly and chatty too. You can drop and donate your items too here.

The coat I bought had a used tissue in the pocket. Can confirm they’re not checking items before selling them - actually saw them moving items straight from drop off to the for-sale racks. Also came across a shirt with a ripped sleeve. I wasn’t interested In it, but handed it into the counter so they could fix it or lower the price. They’d put out it back on the rack with no changes by the time I left. (Edit to add - prices are the same as TradeMe, but I’ve never received a dirty or damaged item through them.)

Disgustingly over priced. I've seen damaged products in there for retail prices. In my experience the staff have generally been unhelpful. One of the few times i brought something from there it was a pair of black fingerless gloves because it was freezing that day. At a regular opshop they would have been 1-2 dollars, brand new from a two dollar shop they might have been $3, but at this place they charged $5!. AVOID.

I’ve been here about 10 times over the last 2 years and the prices are too high for an op shop. They charge more like they are a boutique second hand store. The furniture prices aren’t bad, but the clothing, bedding and homeware are far too high. They have some great shoes but I see the same ones there month after month because they’re asking for $40 for them. You can buy shoes new at Kmart for $15. Kelburn is an affluent suburb, but also has a lot of Vic uni students who would shop there if the prices were reasonable.
