   Went here on a spur meal, and we told people about it and they had an amazing time too. GREAT food in and great place, especially if your a sport fan. Or just want a great place to chillax with drinks or a meal, Great for all family... And a great for those with itchy fingers or full pockets that are into a bit of a bang of the $$ machines

   I recently decided to try out L and L Hawaiian BBQ. I was concerned with the many negative reviews but decided to try them out. I purchased a T bone steak (with garlic butter) and a banana split for dessert. I was only only one purchasing food the entire time that i was there. The establishment seems to be more a slot machine and gambling hub. The lady who served me was friendly and the food came out quite quickly. The steak meal comes with a salad (which was nice and fresh and I enjoyed) a fried egg and some fries. I actually enjoyed the meal. The steak while on the smaller side was tasty. So in closing the steak meal was nice. Would I return for another meal? Probably not it's just not the ambience that I was looking for.

   No exaggeration, this was the WORST dining experience I’ve had in Auckland. I’m not sure if they have the leg to label themselves L&Ls, because that was far from the real thing. It almost seems like they’ve stolen the name and used it promote their mediocre pub food. The meats had an off taste and foul odour, and majority of the meat itself was fat. The sides tasted like it had been sitting for days and the rice came very minimal and room temperature. In total two meals came up to $60 and both guests could barely finish our meals willingly. I couldn’t tell what meat I was eating due to the off taste and the meat being over cooked. I saw that there were numerous negative reviews on this place and I gave them a chance, hoping that the experience override those opinions. Instead, I felt shame for whoever’s running this place. to serve food like that to paying customers, you would have no pride in your business besides maintaining the slots and live games tucked away in the corner of the restaurant. Service was decent but there is a lot of work to do in the kitchen.

   I popped into L & L for a bit of lunch and a pint. I had the spaghetti bilognese priced at $9.90 at was not disappointed food was delicious and a good amount. Beer was only $7.50 for a pint and I washed it down with a 12 year old Glenfiddich. Staff were friendly and welcoming I would recommend this to my friends.

   Food wasnt that great so wouldnt go here again, service was good though, dining area was so cold there werent any heating for those dining in, theres a pokies section for the gamblers and that seemed to have more bums on seats than the actual dining area.
