A++ service today at Matt Forsman Hair. Excellent customer service from Matt over the phone, where I booked an appointment with Mia, a junior stylist. Arriving at the salon was easy with parking nearby, and the premises were clean and very beautiful. I felt warmly welcomed and found Mia to be attentive to my requests and concerns. I have fine hair and a sensitive scalp, which has been a challenge for some experienced stylists in the past, yet she was able to give life to my vision and execute the cut and style flawlessly with a gentle touch. Thankyou so much!
Amazing salon and team- a stylist myself, I was blown away with the level of competence. Mia cut my hair and she did a phenomenal job especially as she hadn’t quite qualified yet! Matt’s teaching was so thorough and encouraging to can imagine this would be a fabulous place to work! And obviously get your hair done. Aroha is great. I always leave feeling stoked with my haircut/ styling services. In general, it's a feel good salon, that's well presented, and welcoming.
Definitely recommend this place, lovely staff, very clean with awesome set up and decor. Great booking times available and can be booked online or by email. LGBTQ+ friendly and they have stylists that can cut curly hair. Student discounts available and they also have afterpay. Always so happy with my hair after visiting, 10/10 cannot recommend enough
Got my hair cut by Shannon, and left feeling extremely disappointed as she didn’t listen or produce the style I wanted. My curtain bangs are uneven way too long overall look worse than before I went, then she curled it at the end so it looked different and I wouldn’t notice…. I will not be back
I have been getting my hair done by Aroha, who is so incredibly lovely, for the past year. Today was the first time I went anything other than blonde, and I was really nervous, but she did the most AMAZING job ! She really took the time to listen to me and gave advice about what she recommended for my hair and the results are beautiful. I have never been happier . 10/10 also for the general vibes in the salon, everyone there is always so kind :)
