I will come here often. There is Oolong ! It s a cool place. Gosh i find it so cool when birds fly in. There is just one thing I sould like to suggest. It s to put more comfortable seats. Like sofas instead of mostly chairs.

Absolutely superb cafe. Our 3rd visit as we drive through Wellington. This morning my wife and I enjoyed the Labs award winning Avocado on toast. By far the best that we have ever had. Excellent coffee and the best service. It wonβt be our last visit to the Lab.

Now this is a CAMRAMEL SLICE. Finally someone's made a slice with a sensible amount of caramel. only wish there was a thinner base to increase the caramel ratio

I use three stars to denote average; not bad, nor good, and what we had was tasty but not memorable. The cheese scones were barely cheesy and rather salty but generous in size. The bulgogi was lovely, nice presentation. The beef was under-seasoned, kimchi was balanced but mild, a small helping of brown rice which was crunchy how I like it, and the best part was the beautifully fried crispy egg with runny yoke. The room is nice. Well spaced with comfortable seats. Having a restaurant with so much window space makes every table feel private. Good table, generous chairs. It's an inoffensive breakfast place and sometimes that's just perfect.

It takes more than 40 minutes to get the food, but it's worth it :) Bunch of sea food in the burger, so I fee like it is different menu not burger haha but very tasty and unique. Good to try for 2024 wellington on a plate.

Location is good in the centre of the city. Decore and atmosphere was a bit sterile, no buzz to it if you like that sort of thing. Food and coffee was okay but nothing great. Service was also okay, but not that friendly.

Beautiful smiling team. Very helpful & ready to please.... The kitchen is open to serve gluten, dairy free. Very grateful to be at this Cafe. Well done owner... We will be back & encourage other patrons to come to The Lab.. Cheers

Not bad, but nothing to write home about. The cabinet food I had was not the crispiest. The coffee was solid. Good but not great. Next time I may try the menu.

Won't be coming back. Forgot my order last time. This time got seated next to the bathroom even though there were lots of empty seats. They basically fenced of part of the restaurant to speed service up which would be good if the service was any good. The Lab is basically the MacDonalds of cafes designed to get you in and out as fast as possible with uncomfortable chairs loud accostics and below average service that makes you go to the counter for any service right down to the sugar for your coffee. Wellington has far better cafes than this.

Best breakfast burger in Wellington! So tasty, fresh and great value for money. The service was exceptional and the cafe was very spacious and clean. Great place to have a coffee, fresh juice or a meal and watch the hustle and bustle of the city. Highly recommend
