Popped into Rubia with my daughters today and had a delicious lunch: mince and cheese pie from the cabinet, beef burger and friesgluten free corn fritters, banana smoothies and coffee. Everything was delicious and it was so nice to have a GF option that wasn't just fries or a GF toasted sandwich. Great coffee and lovely service.

This is a lovely place where to sit, enjoy a cuppa, and even get some work done. I love their modest but delicious GF options and their music selection is on point. Running into a friendly 4 legged patron from time to time is bonus that brings extra joy to my day.

A small place that exudes coziness and warmth, and I can't help but share my love for it. This cafe has become a go-to spot for me, especially on Sunday mornings when I crave a comforting start to the day. It's the kind of place where you can comfortably spend hours lost in a book or simply enjoying your drink. And speaking of drinks, their Chai Latte with coconut milk is an absolute delight! It's evident that the baristas here take their craft seriously, as they've managed to create a Chai Latte that perfectly matches my preferences. The chai is rich and fragant, and the balance of spices is just right. I can confidently say that it's one of the best Chai Lattes I've had in Wellington. Apart from their Chai Latte, their menu offers a decent selection of pastries and light breakfast options, perfect for a relaxed Sunday morning. The staff is friendly and attentive, which enhances the overall experience. Whether you're a solo visitor seeking solitude or meeting up with friends for a laid-back catch-up session, this place caters to all with its cozy and intimate setting. In conclusion, if you're looking for a small cafe to spend a peaceful Sunday morning, this place is an absolute must-visit.

The bagel with avocado and salmon was horrible. There was only one slice of salmon and a teaspoon of avocado in the middle, just making it on a display look like there is plenty. And the bagel itself did not taste like a fresh one, was difficult to chew on. The coffee (americano) was ok through.

Food was ok, coffee was great, but meals were delivered to the table 20 min apart. Not ideal - you either need to wait for others and let your meal go cold or you eat at different times. Not what you want to do when eating out. There were only two of us too. Won’t be going back.

Ordered long black, latte, eggs benne with bacon and an eggs benne with salmon. The coffees were great, the hollandaise sauce was quite a lot and wasn’t that creamy in flavour and there wasn’t much bacon. The salmon tasted nice and fresh and the poached eggs were done just right. Cafe is in a great building.
