   A massive 'Thank You' to Dillon, Patrick and Dave for a beautiful experience moving house. A nine and a half hour process from start to finish I was SO moved by their gentleness, compassion, intense hard work, generosity, receptivity, kindness and willingness to go above and beyond what I'd expected from a removals company. I've moved several times and always dreaded it. Sometimes in the past I've even felt intimidated by the removals staff, but this time I was utterly looked after from start to finish. The price estimate was compatibly to others and I'd say don't always go for the cheapest option because you'll spend elsewhere. I didn't get insurance because it almost doubled the price but not one item was damaged and the care the chaps took over my items was extraordinary - always checking they weren't marking walls or knocking items. I could not recommend World Moving enough and wish these three beautiful human beings could fully understand the impact they made on me through a difficult situation. Always smiling. Always responsive and 100% trustworthy. Thank you also to the admin staff for great communication, an efficient service and highly professional attitude. I hope I don't ever move again but if I do I'll be calling you! THANK YOU!!!!!

   We've had a first rate experience and would highly recommend World Moving and Storage. Our personal situation was fairly complicated. We sold, moved from a large property but had not purchased our next home. Our possessions were safely stored while we hunted for the perfect apartment. Needing to dowsize, half our container was moved to our new abode and some items transported to a second home in Christchurch. All parts of this convoluted process were managed without a hitch by the professional and helpful teams in Auckland and Christchurch. Thanks for the great experience.

   World Moving & Storage took care of our move from The Netherlands to New Zealand, it was a carefree move because of their help. They came and collected all the items at our old house, packed & wrapped it. Took great care of our belonging. Kept us up to date as the container was moving across the world and delivered it at our doorstep months later. Nothing was broken or damaged, we were very pleased with the service.

   We had a great experience with World Moving and Storage. Wendy in the office was so helpful and easy to deal with. When it came to moving day Lou, Christian and Patrick were awesome and nothing was a problem for them.    This is an excellent moving company! On 24 April 2023 they did an international removal from my home and took my personal belongings to a logistics company where all the items were loaded into my 40' container. I was particularly impressed by the international wrapping that they did on furniture and fragile items. Really outstanding, much better than similar services in the USA when I was moving here. My first contact with the company was Duane Condon who did the initial estimating. He was very thorough in his assessment of all the items to be moved and used his laptop for this purpose. He had answers for all my questions and he inspired confidence having been in the business a long time. Pre-move international wrapping was led by Joe and his female associate. Both were excellent and Joe had some smart suggestions regarding the placement of moisture absorbers inside MDF boxes. On move day the team was lead by Lou, assisted by Rebecca and Ezekiel. I worked closely with Rebecca on the packing of dishes and the color coding and numbering system used to place items in truck. She caught on very quickly and I've got to believe that she's an up and comer at World Moving & Storage. I highly recommend this company and have already communicated this to family and friends.

   We moved late last year. Selina was wonderful as were the packers and unpackers. Unfortunately we had a lot of damage done to our items in the move which we didn't notice until after we signed the docket (which of course means they are no longer responsible) my advice is to inspect everything before you sign the docket and also purchase insurance. They didn't pack my expensive art work with cardboard on the corners and subsequently I have damaged pieces. But again I should have purchased insurance.
