   Was at the britomart block party for New Year’s Eve. Went into the VIP room at Saturday britomart and the asian manager of Saturdays britomart was a laugh. She was condescending, rude and would not serve me a drink due to not having my vip wristband at the time. She could have checked my ticket on my phone but she chose not to do that. She said she would have me and my friends escorted out but we happily left as the party was outside rather than in the VIP area. As the customer service from the Saturdays britomart manager that night was condescending and rude- this would be a place to avoid in britomart precinct.

   Went last Saturday as a group to celebrate a 20th birthday for one of my friends. We were all in line together and the bouncer decided that he would only let half the group in even though we had all only had 2 drinks each before coming. He didn’t even give a reason as to why, nor even looked at my ID, he just told us to leave the line. So half the group got let in and had paid $60 before knowing that the rest of the group couldn’t get in. Completely ruined the night as we were split up and some of the group were vulnerable as they had to get home alone. I noticed people behind us in the queue who were very intoxicated and still got in. The bouncers are obviously bias and using their position inappropriately.

   As generic of a club as it gets. Usually will get a decent sized crowd and has a good outside area to talk and meet people. But as far as the club atmosphere goes, no real character...same with the DJs. Expect Mo Bamba to be played to get the crowd hype regularly (is this not 2022 now?). Speaking of 2022 I don't think I heard one song played that was released in the last year. Maybe they will play some 2022 bangers in 2025 or something - funny.

   Great customer service, and the chicken was sooo good but omg the drinks were DISGUSTING and soooo watery , I swear there was no alcohol in them. The cocktails weren't made very well probably why they were cheap. I would definately not come back here purely for the amount of money we wasted on bad drinks. We had a variety and they were all weak as tasted like there wasn't even alcohol in them. Very disappointing. Only good thing I have to say was the customer service and the chicken was really nice.

   Have visited Saturday’s and AV almost every week over the past year, have had quite a few bad interactions with the bouncers. my most recent was yesterday. we stood in line for 20+ minutes at the door to saturday’s when another bouncer came and told us to go to the backdoor as the line was faster, when i got to the door and handed the other bouncer my ID, without even watching me he said you need to sober up, i had 1 drink that night, he then let the people behind me in who were pretty wasted, waited in the other line again and the other bouncer let me in with no issue. Terrible service from them and will not be back unless they plan on fixing this issue
