The bar manager Courtnee is super lovely and professional and the sound system is quality! Beautiful lighting and decor! It is definitely my favourite venue in Auckland!

Extremely aggressive "security" encounter. After having our ID's checked we had been in the club for around 1hour until the next DJ set came on. My partner and I were approached by a very large guy who aggressively got in my girlfriends face and demanded her age. We both replied saying she is in her late 20's. To which he again got in her face demanding her ID. Once she took it out he tried to snatch it from her where she hung on. He continued to be extremely aggressive and physical and then finally saw that she's clearly well over 21. He pointed to his badge and said "oh I'm security I'm not being aggressive". it was NOT clear at all that he was security. After this we left the club feeling very unsafe. It was very unexpected that security would be so physically aggressive for an age check. Once we were outside he again continued with his aggressive behavior to which I said it was so unnecessary as we were doing everything he asked for. I will not go here again. This was at around 10:40pm Sat 13 September. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get his name. I'm really upset the night took a turn like this, my girlfriend is also very shaken by this. You should probably drug test your bouncers, he seemed overly twitchy and aggressive which was easier to see when we were outside, I hope the next time something like this happens it doesn't result in someone getting seriously hurt as he was a really big guy and seemed to be just looking for an excuse to be aggressive.
Hey, I live in Las Vegas NV. I have seen ameigo the devil 2x in Arizona. He just played our punk rock festival called punk rock bowling. He is coming to this club. Do yourself a favor and get a ticket. He is amazing to see live. I wish I had enough money to fly to your club to see him. It looks like a super cool venue. But I bet the body heat makes it pretty hot.
I went to Mothership Bar to enjoy the performance of Sina Bataie, a DJ and music composer, and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was great, and the music created an amazing vibe. The bar itself is a cozy little spot in Auckland CBD, located on Shortland Street. It has a relaxed and intimate setting, making it a nice place to enjoy live performances. The only downside was the sound system—the speakers weren’t the best quality, which took away from the full enjoyment of the music. I had a few beers while I was there, and while they were good, they were a bit overpriced at $12 per beer. That said, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I’d visit again, especially for live music events.
My friends and I had a great night at The Mothership. Friendly staff, reasonably priced drinks, and incredible live music. Will definitely come back

There is something wrong with the air filtration and water tightness in this place. It really smells of mould. I am concerned for the well-being of the staff mainly- as working down there a few nights in a row surrounded by mould…myself and 2 of my friends got quite sick after attending a gig here last Friday.
Had one of the best nights out here in a longtime. Was here for SÉBASTIEN LÉGER, who was the headliner and he killed it, but the opening djs were dope aswell. Great setup, good vibes from the crowd and the bar staff were awesome! Looking forward to another night of dancing here in the near future
