I visited Miru Hair Salon with my mom for a haircut before heading back to Canada, and we had such a great experience. Our hairstylist, Jeanie, was incredibly nice and sweet, and she knew exactly what I wanted without me having to explain much. My mom loved her haircut too. The salon has a clean, calming vibe, the service felt really personal, and the price was very reasonable for the quality. $35 nzd just for the cut. and additional $10-20nzd if you want shampoo. I couldn't have my digiperm as the procedure takes some hours and I recently had a neck injury. They were very understanding and I asked for a haircut instead. To my durprise, the lady washed my hair first, did a scalp massage which I really enjoyed before she cut my hair. She recommended to layer my hair and make it thinner because my hair is very long and heavy. I loved it!! My neck felt so much better. Finally, she added a nice smelling serum on my hair. Price is cheap for a very good haircut and service compared to other hairdressers.
Miru moved to a new location and the place is much bigger than the old one. They have free parking available so do ask the salon manager and she will be happy to assist you. The new location is easy to find. The staff are friendly and offer tea, coffee and water with some crackers if you ask. Very nice salon to visit and have your hair done.
