Very rude male waiter. We were comfortably seated and told to sit where we liked by a waitress. Next mo.ent this male uplifts our table number and plates to move us to another table without a view. If I hadn't prepaid I would have left. Upset our day. Never going back. He was a bully too rude for hospitality.

I visited this café expecting a similar level of service and quality to other Mojo locations across New Zealand. Unfortunately, I could not have been more wrong. I sat in the public lounge area near their café sign—just a few steps outside the official café boundary but still well within the shared lounge space. I ordered a dine-in cake slice and a takeaway coffee and was given a table number. The first waitress was polite and explained that since I was sitting just outside the café, they’d appreciate it if I could return my dish to the nearest café table once I was done. Perfectly reasonable. I thanked her and continued to wait for my coffee. Then I waited. And waited. More than 20 minutes passed before I finally went to the counter to ask what was happening. The barista casually told me they “don’t think they have my order” — as if that was no big deal — and said they’d start making it now. On my way back to my seat, a middle-aged waiter stopped me to ask what was the matter and where I was sitting. When I explained, he bluntly replied, “You’re not sitting at the café, mate.” I told him I had already been served my cake at that same spot. He didn’t ask me to move, didn’t offer to help, didn’t even try to handle the situation professionally. A few minutes later, the barista kindly brought my coffee and placed it on the nearest inside table, asking me to collect it since I was outside the café boundary. Totally fine by me — polite and fair. But moments later, that former rude waiter stormed over, snatched away my table number and food without a word of permission, and carried everything inside. He dumped my food on a dirty table covered in crumbs and a leftover jacket, snapping, “I told you this is outside the café — my colleague told you too! You should not be sitting here” His tone was aggressive, rude and completely uncalled for. This behaviour was utterly disrespectful and shockingly unprofessional. In my nine years living in New Zealand — and as a local guide who’s visited countless cafés — this stands out as one of the most unpleasant experiences I’ve ever had, anywhere. I will never return to Mojo Quay St, and I strongly recommend others avoid it as well. The one star I’m giving is only because I can’t give zero. It’s a real shame that such a prime location with a beautiful view of the Waitematā Harbour is wasted on such poor service. There are plenty of other cafés nearby with similar views and staff who actually respect their customers — take your time and money there instead.

Nice indoor atmosphere. Coffee is alright, food is average

**Nice Views:** This restaurant offers nice views that enhance the dining experience. **Good food:** The quality of the meals here surpasses the norm, ensuring a delightful dining experience. **Reasonable Prices:** Patrons will find the pricing here to be fair, providing good value for their money. **Friendly Service:** The staff are welcoming and attentive, contributing positively to the overall experience. **Inviting Atmosphere:** The interior space is thoughtfully designed, creating a pleasant ambiance. **Coffee Quality:** The coffee, while decent, doesn't quite reach the same level of excellence as the food.

Stunning views and a great atmosphere for a coffee catch-up. They’re also open later than most cafes which is handy! They do not have wifi though.

Very good matcha latte with coconut milk. The personnel is so kind. There are plugs for your devices, not too loud music and comfy chairs if you need to work. The view over the harbour is pretty.

Nice lattes and the Eggs Benedict was tasty. Slightly pricy but prompt, efficient service. Also, they have a good selection of pastries to grab on the go.

Good Coffee, great breakfast, lovely staff and beautiful outlook. It is in the lobby area of an office block but don't let that discouraged you this is a lovely place to grab some food and go, or sit and eat breakfast or lunch. They have a great range of small snacks/cakes and even pre prepared sandwiches or salads. I had the Eggs Benedict with bacon which came on a harsh brown (old school shredded potatoes) which was amazing and loved the kale ,nice touch. We also had the scrambled eggs on toast which was nicely done and prefect lighter option. The coffee was awesome and would 100% return even for a take away coffee. I would recommend this place for anyone in the area tourists or workers alike.

Cafe food & drinks, portions size and serve tend to make them on pricy side, probably due to rental cost. Hopefully this gives more pics on food when I look, I could only see a few. However, service was prompt and good but we did go after lunch hour. Taste was slightly salty to my liking.
