Every city in the world has that theatre space that's a little different. Where everybody is welcome. Where you sit with a celeb on one side, and a struggling artist who scraped together their last dollars to support a mate in their show on the other. A place where creativity is not boxed in, where the funny, the fabulous, the fringe, the cultural, the new, the yet unheard geniuses fraternise and form. A really cool place to be. That's Basement. If you haven't checked it out, maybe you should.

We love live reel! Great for a weeknight out with a group of friends. Definitely book in advance as the venue is quite small so seats are limited.

Love the inner city vibe. Always the best venue for fringe theatre. Most of all the intimacy shared with the actors in the smaller theatres makes the whole experience that much more real.

Nice comedy theater with cheap parking right outside. There is a bar and you’re allowed to bring your drink into the theater, but the bar staff weren’t very friendly, I felt I was bothering them terribly just by buying a beer, and I didn’t even ask a single question.
