   Art of Nails at Commercial Bay is such a lovely place. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and the salon has a cozy atmosphere with beautiful architecture and relaxing music. The complimentary tea is a nice touch, and there’s a great selection of nail colors to choose from. Cherry was super welcoming and friendly, she kept me engaged the whole time, and I didn’t even realize how quickly the time passed. Thank you cherry! Booking is easy online or via phone, but it’s best to book ahead on weekends or public holidays as they’re quite busy. I’m definitely coming back and highly recommend this place!

   I emailed Art of Nails Commercial Bay to make a group booking for pedicures during what I'm sure is a busy time. They responded fast and we're happy to accommodate. Our time in the salon was amazing. We were all looked after very well, the team were kind and professional. Would book here again in a heartbeat

   There aren’t really words to describe just how bad my builder gel removal and re-do was, I was left with cut and bleeding fingers and asked them to stop after this. The tech didn’t even ask what length I wanted my nails and essentially cut them all off. Would not recommend and definitely will never be back.

   Save your money and go somewhere else! I would not recommend getting your nails done here, the nail tech was not listening to what I wanted and kept forcing her opinion on what to give me. For the amount of money you spend there you want to be satisfied with the service and I was less than satisfied. I asked for French Tip and felt like I could have done a better job at home than the nail tech. I have been to places that have cost me less than half of what they cost and was 10x more satisfied. Would not recommend just go somewhere else.

   I'm a regular customer of Art of Nails. I go at least 2- 3 times a month for acrylic on my hands and my pedicure. This salon is probably one of the most well known and pricey salons in Auckland. If you're an avid nails woman like myself who loves having perfect looking nails then you would understand that if their work is immaculate and the quality of service is good...then  I think it's worth the price. However, recently I had a really disappointing experience with them. Their policy is if you cancel within 24hrs of your appointment, you need to pay 50% of the service that you booked for. They recently sent me the confirmation of my appointment...them few hours later they sent me an email saying...due to unforeseen circumstances...they had to cancel. If they can do that then what happens to the customers? It's double standard... I know they cancelled on me because my usual nail technician has gone overseas for a month. But I was still able to book my appointment online. No problem.  I KNOW they cancelled because my usual technician wasn't there and there was no one available.  At the time, because they have few stores, they booked me with another girl but obviously something happened. I told them that they should PAY for my service since I had to make an appointment in their other store ... but what's funny is that.. that same technician was in another store...I had to make the appointment myself?! I called them out for lying because there is NO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES... they probably just made a mistake.  Ever since I've asked them to pay for my service which THEY CANCELLED, they haven't replied back to me.  I told them, it's ok for YOU to cancel and not compensate but as customers WE HAVE to pay 50% of our service.  Maybe CUSTOMERS also have UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES TOO? I wouldn't recommend this place. It's very sad as I've gotten to know the other staff there as well.

   If I could give 0 stars I would. We went here yesterday for our end of year girls outing and were highly disappointed. We arrived for our booking early to not be greeted by anyone and had to awkwardly stand in the corner, finally taking us for our treatment 10 minutes after the booking time. Then once the treatment started my nail technician spent the whole session complaining that my acrylic nails were 'too hard to take off' and therefore couldn't provide the service I'd booked in for (even though they took us in late, and I'd booked a removal of existing nails as part of my booking). The nail technician was also so rough with her service that several of my nails have broken down to the quick and the skin surrounding my nails is peeling off and bleeding. Several of the other girls also didn't get what they'd asked for which was also disappointing. To top this all off they charged me $60 to take off my existing nails and provide no other service.... would never go here again. Also a note that one of the other girls (CN_D F_RR) has also provided a review for our service yesterday and the company has responded saying they have no record of her booking...
