    This place is a hidden gem. Been coming here for years with my partner, we were blown away by the Sichuan chicken (spicy and delicous) and it has kept the same great quality the whole time. Highly recommended. And the owner is really nice

    Sorry but you guys have really dropped the ball. Used to be reasonable but now I see why you guys are always quiet. I got BBQ pork fried rice and all I got was a few dices of pork, very disappointing and dont think I'll be back. What do you call this?

    Phoenix BBQ Eatery serves tasty food, especially the duck on rice. The staff are friendly, but service can be a little slow. The place is clean and nice. It's a good spot for tasty Chinese BBQ.

    The staff are nice and the place is clean and tidy. The food tastes okay, but the dish is 95% rice with a few small pieces of meat and veges. I wouldn't go again

    Beef brisket rice noodle soup was delicious. The soup was flavourful. Noodles a bit broken up into small fragments though. There were a few dirty dishes left at tables even though it wasn't busy. I waited a while to be served. Service not their high point.

    Not worth the money. Portion size is small compared to other Chinese places. Go to Mt Albert if you want to eat Chinese food. Well worth the trip.

    We eat here very regularly, almost weekly. Consistent and tasty, well priced and good portions. Big fans of squid entree, roast duck and combination fried rice. Have tried many of their other options on rice which are delicious.

    Staff are super warm, friendly and inviting. The dining area and toilets were clean. Their duck is amazing! You have to try it with their duck sauce. Best duck dish I've had in Auckland.
