   Just Wow! As someone who doesn’t go to the hairdressers often, I was instantly made to feel at ease by Taz’ wonderful smile. From start to finish she was lovely, kind, informative and helpful, making me understand how to style/care for my hair better on my travels. The price was so affordable, I felt I was given such a delightful pamper in the lovely salon and I would encourage anyone to visit. Thank you again x

   Went in for my first appointment yesterday and was made to feel very welcome from the minute I walked through the door from all the staff, as if I was a regular. Gina is very knowledgeable on her craft and I left with my hair exactly as I wanted, along with advice she gave me for maintaining my hair after leaving the salon. I was able to get an appointment with only a few days notice (thank you!) and I would highly recommend this salon!

   I went to headstart total body for the first time as I wanted a big change. I emailed in for an appointment and was offered an appointment within my desired time frame. I was booked in with Jess and trust me when i say she had her work cut out for her, going from a long untamed main to a cut easy to manage choppy bob. The consultation was great, even though I had a picture we discussed what I did and didn't like about it and the struggles I have had with my hair. She absolutely nailed it I love it. What a great little find.

   I'm absolutely heartbroken that Bronwyn, who has been my beautician for about 5 years, is leaving. Before I met her, I flip-flopped around salons all over Auckland for waxing because I never found a place good enough to commit to. It was impossible to find someone consistently good who also made me feel at ease. Then I met Bronwyn at Head Start and I haven't looked back! (Because of her, I also decided to book a few haircuts and a manicure at the salon. It just made sense to.) Whenever friends asked for a wax recommendation, I'd point them to her at Head Start. Easy! I'm not sure what I will do now! :( Thanks Bronwyn, for half a decade of awesome waxes and banter! You've been a gem from day one. All the best xxx

She knows exactly what I’m after and I dont even have to think a lot about what haircut/style I want to go for. She always has the best recommendations when it comes to my haircuts/ colors and even aftercare. I have had my hair done by Gina and May and can confidently say that the whole team knows their stuff!
