Once went to Liston college for a study trip and the teachers were very friendly and the students there are very nice and polite. I actually made a few friends in there. They were so well mannered. I had an amazing time there. thanks Troy for taking care of me while I was in that school. This is why this school deserves 5 stars

Went there in my intermediate years, left confused at why all the rugby boys there kept on asking me out. Got attacked the first term there, and there are really weird creeps who flirt with some of the boys
We have previously been part of Liston College and are very disappointed to see the resurgence of gang culture within the school. Unfortunately, this behavior appears to be tolerated, with even the current deputy head boy (’25) actively promoting it. For parents seeking a school that prioritizes a quality education and a positive learning environment, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. It is disheartening to see leadership failing to address these issues, as a safe and focused school culture should be their top priority.
most people here treat you so badly. it's disgusting. there are very rare chances where you can express yourself without getting judged and mocked by other students. in p.e, whenever you're playing a game like basketball or soccer, the teachers dont help at all. they just expect you to be somewhat good at it and just leaves you be. you can't even join in most of the time because all the athletic kids just play and ignore the others. it's so hard to fit in with the others because they will find a way to make fun of you somehow. either it be how you look or speak.
as a student at this school i only enjoy coming here because of my friends there is no support system for us students. Mr. Cope was one of the only teachers i felt actually cared about us students. the school has now turned into something of a dictatorship with not even the priceable at the top but has Mr. Girven at its head even though he is a man who acts like he has the power and is extremally two faced In front of parents but is playing with a teacher on the side. I was recently told with the new changing room that it is reserved for the first 15 even though its in the gym and they already have the pavilion to get changed, everything is super biased towards the rugby boys and us other students are left forgotten on the side, I write this from a fake account because I am scared that if I am made public with this I will face harsh consequences for being honest on how I feel, but there is nothing the school will do nor who ever is higher up because this is one review that they never read. thanks a lot Liston College
We have loved this school for our boys. It is supportive and a great education especially for raising young men.
Liston isn't a good school the teacher isn't good at teaching sometimes, some teachers just expect you to know what there teaching in a day. the school is just to harsh on us students, they don't mark tests fairly and by one little mistake you don't get the mark that you were meant to get. we can't have piercings and get in big trouble saying "its in the law that you can't have that on your body" even tho its our body not theirs. Liston needs to be more reasonable with the students not making them feel down or have the right to speak. some of the teachers are unfair towards people that are of colour and have more than 1 ethnicity. I do not recommend coming here before you come here look at the reviews. and don't ever come
A teacher yelled and me and my class everyday for the littlest reasons, such as: no talking to each other, no going on our devices to do hoomwork and if we weren't reading a book. When I raised my concern to the dean regarding how much the teacher yelled at us I was accused of being a "trouble maker" and I got a detention and the teacher got no punishment at all.
