As one of New Zealand’s leading DJ & Photobooth providers, our team works across many venues — and Settlers Country Manor is truly one of our absolute favourites. Here’s why: From a vendor’s perspective: The service and staff are exceptional. From the moment we arrive through to the very end of the night, the team genuinely looks after us — making sure we’re comfortable, supported, and never forgotten. Being onsite all day and night, it means a lot when a venue understands that vendors are human too (yes… we do get hungry :), and Settlers absolutely gets it. From a couple and guest experience: A special mention to Abigail, the wonderful host who is always on her game. She ensures every detail is covered to truly pamper couples and their guests — from the stunning grounds and beautiful venue, to the delicious food, and the incredible in-house lighting show that transforms the space once it’s time to dance. Abigail’s warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail consistently set the tone for an unforgettable experience. We absolutely LOVE working at Settlers Country Manor and can’t wait to be back again soon.    Absolutely beautiful venue for weddings! The manor is huge with large indoor space for dinner, and enclosed backyard for outdoor ceremony. Interior decoration is very vintage and glam. Outdoor with nice plants and a small lake. Service is excellent too. Highly recommended for weddings and functions!

   We had our wedding at Settlers Country Manor last Friday (10.10.25) & we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! From the very beginning, we worked with Abigail, who was absolutely amazing. She was so helpful, responsive, & genuinely lovely to deal with throughout the entire planning process. Her team was just as incredible, professional, kind, & went above & beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly on the day. The venue itself is stunning. It’s such a beautiful & unique setting with so much character. Compared to other venues we looked at, Settlers offered so much more in terms of inclusions, value, & atmosphere. Our guests were blown away, & we’ve had so many compliments about the day. We can’t thank Abigail & her team enough. We highly recommend Settlers Country Manor to anyone planning their special day.    We had our wedding at this venue and it was perfect from start to finish. The spaces are beautiful, the layout flows effortlessly for ceremony, photos, and reception, and the food & bar service were outstanding. A special shout-out to Abigail, the venue manager—she was phenomenal. From our first visit she was organised, warm, and incredibly responsive, offering practical suggestions that elevated the day (timelines, room setup, wet-weather backup. On the day, Abigail and her team ran a smooth, stress-free event so we could focus on our guests. Multiple people told us it was a great venue, and we agree. If you’re considering this venue, book the tour and ask for Abigail—you’ll be in the best hands.

   A delicious meal and special experience just around the corner from you. We tried two entrees and the lamb shank special on Thursday. If you’re a local and haven’t dined here, you should. Rally the whanau by the fire and enjoy the staff’s energy and talent in the kitchen.

   Wow! We held our Wedding at Settlers Manor last month and what an incredible venue and unforgettable day. Abigail and her team were incredible at accomodating to our needs (as last minute flooding was planned the night before) bringing our ceremony from outdoors indoor without any trouble. Many of our guests complimented the gorgeous area and regardless of the weather, it was an incredible time with loved ones.
