We bought fish n chips for our family dinner on Saturday night. I was a little disappointed but the kids liked their hot dogs. The chips were good. ( I accept the owner's response so I've edited my review).
These guys are a great. We always feel welcome here & of course the fish & chips are awesome .... way-ta-go team! The owner wandered over & handed me the latest NZ fishing mag to peruse while I waited .... nice one chief :))
Excellent Fish & Chips! Paua & Oysters were also very tasty. Friendly, helpful Staff. Food was prepared fresh & served quickly.
Friendly ladies in here. Battered oysters were delicious. My preference would be thinner batter but ain't complaining, they were respected.
We ordered dinner there lastnight. We got home to see our fish was undercooked, the batter was soggy and doughy. Our fish were stuck together it was disgusting. I find this very appalling and won't except that. We won't be ordering from your food store again. Weather you pick and choose who's orders to cook well or poorly at whatever standard you choose on greeting us at the casher when we make our orders and pay for our kai , this isn't exceptable. I was so upset me and my daughter had paid for this and were let down with a disgusting dinner.
Great fish and chips shop in Porirua. Does get very busy which is a reflection on how popular the place is. Friendly staff, one even started pulling out fish and teaching my 3 year old daughter the names of them. Would definitely go back again.
Hands down the best fish and chips in Wellington never really tried this place until now and so sad on what I've been missing out on. Portioning is great for the price too spent only $15
Great value for money - battered fish and full scoop for $10. Service was a little slow perhaps missing a staff member whilst gearing up for a busy Saturday but I was in and out within 15 mins to catch the sunset
Fresh fish just melted, freshly cooked, good price and excellent service. I had cooked fish but the fresh fish looked very good too.
