We were the only people in the entire restaurant. I put some of my belongings on a seat behind me so I could pick up the menu because we were at the smallest table on the planet and there was no room to put my stuff. Got snapped at by the server. For being the only people in the place service took awhile, we could hear the servers gossiping while we were clearly ready to order. Drinks were ok, not good. For over $100 for 4 drinks the level of service was abysmal.

Fab cameo after the Opera House Christmas show. Lovely service. Drinks were top notch. Unfortunately witnessed some bad behavior when drunk people were rightly refused entry. Establishments have a legal responsibility to do this. Will be back! Love the guy! X

It's a fancy cocktail place whose staff make it very apparent that if you're new to cocktails or don't know much, you're not welcome. Their "custom cocktail experience" ended up being an exercise in rudeness from the staff, who preferred to fob me off and treat me like an idiot rather than be helpful. Here I was thinking we could have a little back-and-forth - I offer some suggestions, you refine the selection. Nope. Just "No, that doesn't work" and treating me and my entire group like morons. Expensive, slow, and snobby. Do not recommend.

Crumpet never fails to impress! Every time I visit, they deliver exceptional drinks and cosy vibes, but their Cuban Jacket is on another level. Perfect for winter, itβs rich, warming, and made with such flair that itβs as much a performance as it is a cocktail. Watching the bartender expertly pour the flaming liquid from one jug to another is pure artistry, and the taste matches the spectacleβsmooth, indulgent, and comforting on a cold night. Crumpet has become my go-to spot, and the Cuban Jacket is the reason I keep coming back.

Crumpet is such a nice place for having a drink and small talks or deep conversations. The vibe of this place is so good and relaxing, especially with the candle on the table. However, when the shop is full of people, it is getting a little busy and noisy, but it still provides good vibes. For the crew at Crumpet, they are very knowledgeable in making the drink. We ordered a drink based on our own taste, and they made it so good! Overall, Crumpet is recommended!

Excellent service from Caitlin! She was so knowledgeable and friendly and helped us to pick the perfect drinks. The cheese board was also banging and the perfect little drinking snack between two people! Definitely coming back. Also you must try their ginger syrup, so so so good

Probably the best bar in Wellington. Great bartenders with good banter and mixology skills. Menu is a bit of a shortcoming but it's all good. Get a crumpet

Cute spot. Be awesome in summer. Creative drinks and soft fluffy crumpets. Yum tried the warm drink called the Flompf (I admit I got it because if the cute name) was really different. Didn't hate it. Liked the staff and cool nude old pictures on the wall.

My husband loves crumpets so when I saw there's a restaurant who do crumpets we know we have to try it and it didn't disappoint. The place was a bit small but enough spaces the ambiance was warm and nice gives you a romantic feels. The service was intuitive and friendly. The quality of their crumpets puts shame to the rest of the crumpets it tasted fresh warm just the right crunch and chewy soft as you bite. The toppings worked so well we had the pineapple and cheese to the cold cuts and chutney they were delicious paired with the spritz and it was a match made in heaven. We also tried the cookie crumpet which is a bit average compared to the savoury ones nonetheless we had fun dining it was a great night to remember and we enjoyed the experience.
