   I have been lucky enough to have had a few gorgeous bunches of flowers from Flourish Floral Design in Wellington. Each bunch has been different to the last, creative, colourful and the flowers are always in beautiful condition so they last.

   I ordered flowers from for my mum who has been going through a hard time. Usually I use the bigger florists in town, however I knew Covid had been tough on local businesses, so I specifically looked for an option in mum’s neighbourhood. Flourish’s site says they do twice daily deliveries, creating the expectation that I could order in the morning and expect delivery later in the day. I ordered the $45 Flaming Sunburst arrangement and paid $15 for delivery (literally a 5 mins drive to my mum’s). 3 days later, and there was no news, leaving me to ring from overseas to follow up on my order. Richelle explained she had just moved to Wellington, and had left the Auckland business for someone else to manage during this time. The flowers arrived 2 days later. The flowers were nice enough, but were underwhelming compared to the picture in the site. In the comparison photo the left image is what mum received (lots of space and leaves) vs. what was pictured on the site. I appreciate that the site image may be depicting a larger bouquet size, but this should be clearly stated. The smaller bouquet also lacked in variety. If the service and communication was addressed then maybe I would order from Flourish again, but definitely some room for improvement.

   Amazing and beautiful floral design... Flourish Floral Design seem to know just what the is needed. Each bouquet is unique and thoughtfully crafted with the highest quality flowers. Flourish is not limited to one design style, they stay on top of current trends and deliver gorgeous arrangements... Richelle and her team are just the best to deal with... considerate, accommodating and kind. Can you tell Im a fan!!!
