   This store has a great concept, and I made a special trip to pick up some Christmas trees. Unfortunately, several staff members that day were quite rude, which was disappointing—especially given how often the store encourages people to stop by and take items, as they are frequently overflowing with stock. Experiences like this make it difficult for customers to feel welcome. Sadly, I will not be returning.

   Well just had the most ungrateful response to a drop off of quality clothing to this place. To the old lady with the gray hair I am so sorry I put you out by having mixed up a pillow, shoes and books in some bags that you had to empty and that you felt you needed to make a point and performance about it. Don't worry it won't happen again as that is the last items you will ever get from us. Repect you donators and cop an attitude adjustment.

   Best opp shop on nz!! We travel and are opshoppers and I think more need to move towards this way of doing it. $10 at the door. You get to take what you like and get a tag to choose one thing behind the desk. I have gotten awesome things each time. Thankful for this shop and I hope people create more like it.

   I think the people who came here and left disappointed and gave a poor review of this place missed the point. I came here for the first time with no expectations and risked paying $10 just to have a look and expecting to find nothing of any interest. But I was really pleased and surprised with the treasures I left with. I highly recommend you have a look yourself.

   Very helpful place for patrons on low income. Porirua City Council do not support or help this place at all. Lack of funding & support. All the workers are volunteers. A must place to drop off goods

   This place is brilliant. Its pot luck as to what you will find. My daughter and I ended up with about 10kg+ of goodies( you weigh what you take, so they know how much weight is being kept out of landfill) and always enjoy having a rummage through the racks etc. Well worth the $5 entry fee
