Sold a faulty silver chain. The clasp near impossible to operate. Must have broken though I didn't notice until I brought it back. Wasn't offered any reasonable solution other than to leave with this useless chain. Not good enough!
I went to collect my watch after battery change The old white sales person did not serve me after I was standing there. She ignored me because she was not busy but was also.serving a couple along with a male salesperson After some time she spoke to me about my visit She went back to the back room & told another person to serve me What a rubbish experience going to Porirua
Came in the Porirua store for the 6 month clean. The staff member was only interested in upselling a service . Advised we weren't local and would discuss more with our local in which she responded well you can have it cleaned there also. If you want sub standard and unprofessional service this place is for you. Although I will go into my local MH in Palmerston North to get our jewellery cleaned in future as per our warranty I will no longer purchase my jewellery from Micheal Hill Jeweller and I would advise you to do the same.
Me and my partner travelled around Wellington to look for a ring for her. We weren't planning to go here because of the bad reviews but we were in the area so we stopped to window shop. The customer service was amazing from beginning to end and they went the extra mile for us. We ended up buying her ring here and we will shop here again. Highly recommended.
Delayed communication, Poor service, staff just going for the sale, which was disappointing overall customer experience.
The customer service was friendly and the staff knew exactly what I wanted when I asked for it. They had a lot of knowledge about the product and even gave me options if I wasn't too sure on a certain piece
To the guy working on Saturday, thank you so much for the time and effort you put into helping me sort out a mis-engraved bracelet! I had no hope to fix the bracelet and you spent the time to buff it out and it came out almost brand new - you were awesome and I appreciate it so much! Cannot thank you enough :)
Left 4 watches for replacement batteries. Got a text to say they were ready, but one wasn’t to be found. What annoyed me was the lies about how the 4th one hadn’t been sent, then it had arrived but incorrectly receipted, then it had arrived.. Three trips and no apology.. The staff should just say sorry and not tell lies to get you to come back later.. absolute fail.. never will I ever as they say... return our recommend
