There are two things I'm not going to cover; number one is craftsmanship. Visit the website, and you can see the details and quality. Number two: Price. If cared for reasonably, her work can exist long after you are gone. When you consider it this way, price isn't a factor. I want future customers to know that I asked for a deeply unusual piece. To the point, I'm confident no jeweller will ever be asked to make this ever again. Because of this uniqueness, my limitations of knowing what is possible and what isn't, what constraints and potentials exist, etc., I was anxious about the custom piece and its viability. This, to me, is where Steph shone. Her assistance in guiding me through how to use my budget best, translating my ideas into a tangible product, listening with empathy to why this is important to me, making material recommendations, etc., was professional and personable. It gave me faith to deal with a skilled person, but also engaged as a human and the story behind why you are there in the first place. To put it in black and white, she helped me work through the challenges, gave me better advice, and then delivered what we agreed to within the budget and stated time frames. That is 10 out of 10.

I have bought a number of pieces from Steph Lusted over the year and she cannot be surpassed in her craftsmanship. Her pieces are always beautifully made and whenever I wear a piece, I always feel I am wearing something very unique and special. She is a true artist.

We joke that Steph is the "family jeweller" for us - we've had such a pleasant time chatting with her when we're in Wellington, and each piece of jewellery we purchase is a work of exquisite art. Would recommend her studio for anyone looking for high quality work.

Steph is a talented jeweller. I commissioned her to recreate a piece of ancient jewellery from a photograph and she did a better job than I could have imagined - all her work has an ethereal quality and this piece was no exception. I highly recommend her.

I purchased one of her signature pieces and wear it daily, even though it is finely made it stands up to every day use. She specialises Objet d'art (an ornamental work of art, three-dimensional, made of high-quality materials, and a finely-rendered finish that emphasises the aesthetics of the artefact). Many of her works are sculptural and can be displayed. Prices range from a couple of hundred all the way up. It is an ever developing collection that rewards dropping in to see whats new, even if you are not in the market for something. Her works are in the Te Papa museum collection and are great for collectors.

I can't recommend Steph and her skills highly enough. She is an amazing artist-craftsman with a unique and inspired vision. She took my idea and turned it into an exquisite and beautifully crafted vision piece, and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.

Steph is incredible and I love her work! So unique. Iβve lived in Wellington for five years but just came across her due to a recommendation from a friend. My partner decided on a beautiful engagement ring from one of her medieval designs. It was ready within just a few days! Canβt wait to come back and buy something for myself ;)

Steph's work and artistry is like nothing else around these parts. I highly recommend a visit to her wonderful gallery. After just a few minutes of talking to Steph you begin to realise just how much is invested into each and every handmade piece.

Steph was an absolute joy to work with. The first time we went in she sat with my partner and I to look at a wedding band for him. She was phenomenally helpful, took us through all the possible options and what we could have customised. She spend lots of time helping us decide and prepared some quotes. Once we'd decided, the ring was made up really quickly and is perfect, and it was a great price too. Getting to have a cuddle with her cat Beowulf was an awesome added bonus! We were beyond thrilled and wouldn't hesitate to go back or recommend Steph to anyone after some gorgeous quirky jewellery or wedding bands.
