I loved this place. The food is exquisite. A very varied menu and spectacular presentation. The young woman Brooke, who served us was incredibly kind and pleasant. I recommend this place a thousand times over. I give it a 10 out of 10 rating.

This is a great restaurant situated on corner of Cuba and Vivian Street in Wellington. It was busy for a Monday night. The service and food were excellent. This is a turkish restaurant. They cater for dietary needs and allergies. They have vegan and gluten free options . The food was extremely tasty. The staff were friendly and provided fantastic service. One that was interesting is there is not a great deal of privacy. It is on a busy street corner and you have people watching from the street. Photos include a beef short rib on rice and chickpea, lamb chop, tahr kebab, beetroot salad...

Kisa in Wellington was an absolute delight — every dish felt fresh, light, and wonderfully authentic. The menu offered a perfect mix of vibrant veggies and flavorful meats, made for sharing and savoring. The atmosphere had that rare warmth that makes you want to stay just a little longer, and the service was attentive, genuine, and kind. Perfect for a long lunch or an easygoing dinner — highly recommend.

A well-established, well-marketed spot that delivers exactly what it promises: good food and reliably attentive service. Our experience was smooth from start to finish, with dishes prepared competently and staff keeping things running efficiently. While nothing missed the mark, there wasn’t a single showstopping plate that made us eager to plan a return visit purely for the wow factor. Still, it’s a solid, satisfying choice—especially for casual catch-ups or a lively meal with friends. The ambiance leans more social than intimate, so it’s better suited to groups than a romantic dinner for two. Overall, a confident 4-star pick and a dependable place to have a good time and a good meal.

Nothing not to like about this place. The food was excellent (I was very nice surprised that brussel sprouts can taste so good) , the wine was delicious too. Staff were both friendly and professional. I will definitely visit this place again at some point.

Love this place! The dippings, spreads, mezze, large plates and desserts are tasty! All meat are also Halal and free range, perfect for me and my family! We tried many and our favorites are the hummus and Lor cheese dippings, Mozzarella boreks (like deep fried mozzarella sticks) tabouleh salad, and lamb kebab. We also enjoyed the beef ribs, which was juicy and yummy. For the dessert, we love pistachio ice cream with crispy filo and walnuts. Can’t get enough of it. The ambience is lovely, packed with people enjoying and sharing their food. The bar is also cute. They do serve alcohol. I really love the dinnerwares. So cute and very Turkish. The staff is friendly and helpful. Service is great and fast, food comes flawlessly. They have high chairs for the kids and the restaurant is also disability friendly, from the entrance, dining tables and seats, as well as toilet. Parking can be a bit difficult as it’s located in the famous Cuba st. I Happy to be back here again.

Group of 4 ordered the lamb kebab, garlic pilaf, tabouleh, pickle salad, and mozzarella. The flavours of all the dishes were tasty but also very fresh and light. Separate dishes taste great combined with others! The plates are definitely made for sharing, and I would recommend at least 2 plates per person if you're hungry (or if you just want to try different dishes!). We didn't have a booking but were able to walk in and get the last table for 4 of us at 6 pm on a Wednesday night. Our food also came out quicker than I expected, seeing as the restaurant was full! It's very pretty inside and the atmosphere is lovely. Lots of people there are sharing with friends and family, which really sets a nice vibe. Staff are friendly and deliver good quality service.

Such a beautiful experience at Kisa. It’s super cozy but stylish, with warm sun light coming through the big windows in late afternoon. Sit at the chefs bar to get the best experience. The Middle Eastern food was perfect, fresh, not heavy and absolutely delicious. Matched with house made sodas that you can add your favorite alcoholic tipple to. The staff are so lovely, professional and knowledgeable. I think this is a must visit when in Wellington.

Feb 2023 Finally I was able to try this new place! Hummus, cured fish, tomato salad were delicious and great sharing dishes. The cheese entry, Leek, tahr and lamb though were good, but not great. The red meats were missing that punchy flavour. Service was good, food was good and the atmosphere was great, good noise level so easy to talk between us. It was a good overall experience it just didn't wow me.
