A useful place to pop into while waiting for the bus. I picked up some great deals there, including facial masks for a few dollars and reasonably priced chap sticks. Customer service can be friendly or cold depending who serves you.
Overcharged the product. I had told the cashier that they had overcharged in the system but they refused to change the price. Will never go there again. They charged me 10.99 but this is the wrong price. I told them the price is wrong. I said that is the 500g tub price and mine one is 100g. Could you please check your system. Your system Is wrong. They said there is no price tag on the shelf. They refused to check it in their system so I cancelled the transaction. This shelf of the store is unorganised. Staffs are not trained well. They’re really not helpful. They’re always rushing.
I came into Wellington from Porirua and got some makeup products, and one of the employees Sara, was incredibly helpful. She assisted me in finding the best and safest products and was so kind and patient with me

Deceptive pricing I bought 5 items. My suspicions were raised when I saw the checkout didn’t have a customer-facing display so I couldn’t check the price of each item as it was scanned. Only after I’d been told the total and paid it did I go back and check the shelf price against the receipt. Sure enough, one of the items was different. Cheaper on the shelf than on the receipt, of course. First time shopping here. And the last.
A few weeks ago I got racially profiled for stealing when I wasn't and when I told the staff who was coming at me from behind that I am autistic and have severe PTSD she did not stop, causing me to have a panic attack in store. She didn't treat me like a human and honestly was pretty damn awful, I also had someone on their staff follow me out. Never coming back ever again, which is really unfortunate due to the fact that I use to go in multiple times a week, specifically choosing that store because it was quite abd felt familiar.
It's a nice place to buy shampoo, vitamin, perfume. Most of the time they have better discount than Farmers branches.

Saturday hardly any customers at prescriptions counter yet taking staff over 15 minutes to fill a prescription when it was order the day before. When said what's the point of pre-ordering when I have to wait... the rudeness if the staff called zcen became very evident... someone from Bargin Chemist advise why we should be pre-ordering when the scripts aren't filled and ready for collection????
Gets the job done. Below average service when it comes to script pickup the dispensary lady seems quite bothered when asking for anything about the medication. Scripts are free which are great. There’s so many vitamins and health food stuff that it’s spread across a lot of isles. Convenient location and good opening hours.
