Great location and, amazing customer service.definately recommend staying here. Easy parking on site. Very comfy beds. Only negatives for us was no sink with the kitchenette and no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Great stay, thank you
We were quite happy with the Wellington Travelodge. The hotel is in a convenient central location and we thought the laneways access was terrific. The room was modern but showing signs of wear but clean and tidy. We also got a high floor and the room was very quiet. The bathroom was terrific and the staff helpful and courteous. The price we paid was very competitive with other hotels in the city
I stayed here as they advertised the room as sound proof, but I could hear the person next door pacing up & down in his room all evening. Then around 9.10pm I could hear the shower turn on for approx 10 mins. I also couldn't get any sound from tv1 or tv2 & rang reception, & they said they were aware of it. That all rooms had issues. Also I was staying Fri & Sat night & was informed they weren't doing dinner or room service. Information I would of liked to have known before I booked my stay :(
Harbour view was amazing and location for us couldn't be beaten. Only down side which not really a biggie but bowls in room size of saucers and no option for caffeine free tea. Staff are lovely and rooms slightly dated but very clean. We will stay here again.
Hotel is in prime location, which rescues it from a dismal rating. Service was very average, rude pink haired woman on front desk with no customer service skills. Someone else's toothbrush left in the bathroom between guests. Extremely old TV didn't have volume on free to air channels - looking back through reviews this hotel wide issue seems to have been for a least 1-2 months. Location however was excellent, close to everything and we could walk everywhere. Won't stay again however, better choices elsewhere
Booked a twin room for my sister and myself while we stayed in Wellington to see a concert. Was so handy being right in Central Wellington, only minutes walk from everything. The pillows and beds were the most comfortable I've had in any hotel or motel I've been in.
Location, amenities and staff were great. Unfortunately cleanliness wasn't up to scratch. Had a very big break out with itchy spots the next day. Definitely riddled with bed bugs
Great hotel at a good price. Location is perfect, room is good size,clean & plenty of storage. Bed was very comfy, would definitely stay here again.
Clean, professional. Easy to find , easy parking, Good size rooms with microwave, fridge & kettle. Great location just 2 streets back from the harbour so perfect to walk to all attractions. Surprisingly good food! It was a Rugby match night so all the harbour restaurants were full or closed, grudgingly we returned to travelodge for dinner not expecting much, only to be surprised with better quality food than what we had seen in the restaurants in town!
Absolutely filthy room. I haven’t stayed anywhere in nz dirtier than this, camps and holiday parks included. The shower looked unclean & moldy, the bathroom trash hadn’t been cleared from another guest, the floor carpets were stained & dusty. There was an AC unit the didn’t work as well. When we told customer service about this, they only offered a 50% refund, after some pushing. Totally do not go here!
