Terrible experience overall. Parking has been an ongoing issue over the past two years of being an on‑and‑off patient, and for a hospital they really need to treat accessibility as a genuine priority. The parking available this year is roughly half of what it was last year, which was already abysmal, and it makes every visit frustrating and inconvenient. Staff parking is clearly prioritised over patient access, which feels unreasonable when people are trying to get to appointments. For patients needing orthopaedic specialists and radiology services, this level of access is well below par. The food was average; I had noticeably better quality at Wellington Hospital only weeks earlier. My surgeon also has very poor people skills, which I will be raising directly with him rather than detailing here. The single star is for the lovely front‑of‑house, nursing, and orderly staff, who were mostly wonderful and the only redeeming part of the experience.
Such an amazing team. We are so grateful for the top notch care and support we received during my stay. Right from the consultation stage, through to post op. The food was hot and delicious, my support team were well looked after and supported through the process as well. Thank you for such a great experience!!!
I had a great experience at Pacific Radiology in Wakefield today! Great job Dr. Jonathan and the radiologist assistant! Well done team. Had my biopsy done smoothly. Awesome experience and well looked after by the staff. Well recommended!
Went to the Radiology department today for an MRI. I suffer from claustrophobia, so was very anxious about the scan. The staff from start to finish were extremely good with getting me through it, I feel they went above and beyond. Thank u team!
This is a private hospital where you pay for medical services, not a free medical hospital where you arent suprised by mediocore service. Receptionists have little knowledge, have no clue about insurance coverage or the services the hospital provides. Three out of three appointments the surgeon was late, half an hour or more. I find this very disrespect - perhaps preempts the medical circus behind clinical appointments? They then arrogantly waffled for an hour about their thoughts on worldly events and the NHS and had little understanding of patient needs and expectations. Some communication awareness training would greatly increase the service level.
Had surgery and spent a night at Wakefield hospital. Staff and the specialists were amazing, just so friendly and helpful, made me feel relaxed and comfortable.
I had a great experience here. I spent 5 nights at the hospital, ate some brilliant food and watched tv all day whilst the nurses answered my every beck and call. Very professional service! Unfortunately, as a doctor, I was told that I was supposed to be working instead of enjoying myself and was given the sack the next day. Oh well, onto the next hospital I suppose.
A great place to be treated at. The staff here are wonderful. Although extremely busy. They have a personal touch to every interaction and respond ASAP when called for. Thanks for some great medical care.
What a fantastic bunch of professional people, I cannot say more about the friendliness, kindness, skill and service. My doctors were amazing and my nurses were all out of this world. Thank you for looking after me, I truly appreciate people that do what you do for people, and do it so well!
